Response to: The UnderDog List Posted March 9th, 2007 in Audio

I don't know about this one. Some of those guys have hundreds of downloads and reviews. Sure maybe they deserve more attention, but who in the AP, besides bounce and paragon, could not use a little more attention? If they have a gold track they should not be on that list. Look at this guy for example -
snayk has a diamond track, but some of his songs have only 1 or 2 reviews and even some with NO REVIEWS AT ALL. Thats what gets me - the lack of feedback. I think we should focus on that not who we think is an underdog. We can't all be the level of Paragon and Bounce, but collectively we know just about everything there is to know about music and should share this knowledge to make better music.
I'm not dissing you Maestro, you are the perfect example actually. You have 20+ reviews on a lot of your songs, but have still managed to respond to nearly all of them AND write 375 reviews for other people. Even during your 30 hours of starvation you wrote me a review. Thats what we need more of. Maybe this really is a good idea and maybe it's just me, but I think as long as you try your best on a song, you deserve a good 4 or 5 decent reviews, and when you get a review, I think the favor should always be returned.

Response to: The brown noise Posted March 8th, 2007 in Audio

The guy wanted brown noise. Its a pleasant sound that can be useful for dithering and mastering and all that, not curing constipation. They are two completely different topics I was just trying to help this guy out cause you are all going off topic.

Again, here is the link. If he wanted brown noise, theres a clip. If he wanted a brown note, thats just impossible. Either way this topic is over and done with and let's not make a big deal out of it.

Response to: The brown noise Posted March 8th, 2007 in Audio

I'm answering the question about brown noise not some stupid myth which is what this evolved into before the first topic was even discussed at all. The thread is called "Brown Noise," not brown note, and bagoverhead even asked for brown noise, which, unlike the brown note for all we know, actually exists. If he meant to say note I don't know, but either way you're all still idiots, except khuskan because i'm listening to his music right now and its pretty cool.

Response to: The brown noise Posted March 8th, 2007 in Audio

Brown noise or "Brownian" noise can be generated with some programs including Adobe Audition and Cool Edit Pro (I think). Wikipedia has information and a 10 second clip @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownian_noise.

The brown noise from southpark is probably just making fun of this tern because its called the brown noise and poop is often brown. Who would of thought?

By the way you're all idiots.

Damn thats some heavy cow manure. I wish I could help you out but I can't even really give you advice. My dad's like "Go to college, son." And I'm like... "Maybe next semester, I'm kinda overwhelmed from all the stuff I learned in high school."

Not a true story just trying to ad some comic relief.

Is the goal supposed to be to make a beat you would want to have sex to, to make something you'd hear in a porn - or to make a song using samples from a porn.

If you don't want to make rules can we at least hear some guidelines or something about how it will be judged? I need an answer other than be creative.

I think I might just end up using my old November MRAC song. Doesn't look like that would break the rules >8)

Reviews?
I'm planning to do most of Goldeneye in level order, but if you have a request PM me.

Music Requests Posted December 25th, 2006 in Audio

I want to do some remixes/covers. Any requests?

- Requests made on this thread will not be for just me but all the audio artists of newgrounds. This is for flash artists and audio junkies looking for remixes and video game music possibly created to match a specific genre.

- And I figured theres already some thread like this but in my breif search I failed to find anything. So if there is, I'm sorry, but its probably not getting a lot of action if I dont know about it and theres nothing wrong with having two :P.

So if you're looking for a song, leave a request and users can call dibs on making it or something like that.
