They then took the cost of home prices and mortgage costs and they BOTH ended up with the same amount of money in their pocket by the end of that year's payment.
wow you really like to look at things in a particularly slanted way, money in their pockets you mean by liquid deposits? What about the value of the property owned last time I checked real estate was an asset. Tell you what go to Ohio and offer people a trade their 100k hom for your 1 million dollar home in NY see if the "rich" people in Ohio don't take youre "nonrich" real estae with a smile. Cost of living is relative to some degree, but when it comes time to retire, to buy a car, to invest ect, the 250k a year makes you rich 50k a year only makes you feel rich if your neighbors are homeless.

...read his post again, would you? People making 250k a year living in an apartment building do not get to sell their apartment. When the guy mentioned retires, he would literally have as much as the guy who made 50k. Notice the part where he said: "they BOTH ended up with the same amount of money in their pocket by the end of that year's payment." That means they have the same amount. It doesn't mean he has a million dollar house and an expensive car. With Obama's new taxes, the guy making 250k will pretty much get screwed.

doesnt your computer turn the clock back for you regardless of weather or not it reminds you?

Yeah, I just realized that it does it automatically. When I first read it I thought it was simply reminding me to do it.

I'm not sure why it's doing that, but if you need to shave off a beat at the front of a loop you imported, just select the slice tool from the buttons on the playlist and then slice off the unneeded section. The slice tool shouldn't be hard to figure out by yourself. You just click and drag to cut a line. Then delete the sliced off chunk and you will be good to go.

Real nice.
Facts missed from my last post.
Ratings... Not bad at all. As I said before, money well spent.

You understand Nielsen ratings are completely pulled out of their ass, right?

And Achilles2, I never said I had met every single person. I said, "I haven't met one person yet who has actually watched it." That means of the people I have talked to, no one has watched it.

I haven't watched it, but I was just wondering why anyone would sit through the whole thing if it was on TV? People don't care that much about Obama to sit and watch a half an hour long ad for him. That's insane. Why wouldn't they just change the channels and actually watch a show?

Well corn was just the example. Most of that stuff at Wal-Mart is cheap. I was just showing you can survive off of cheap food. Also, didn't the Irish live off of just potatoes and water until the potato virus got out?

If you're poor you can't get a good education and you get stuck with a low paying job and that in turn makes you be turned down for better jobs. I don't know how to express to you just how thoroughly wrong you are. Effort is not all that's needed to succeed in life: if it was then nobody would be poor and everyone would be happy and the world would be sunshine and fucking ponies. It's not. Most people are fucked over by the circumstance into which they're born.

That guy I mentioned above who's supporting his family off of a minimum wage job was born into a family of two teachers. Teachers make around $50k - $60k a year in my district, so the family was making $100k+ a year. Not terrible circumstances, but he still ended up screwing himself over. And yes, anyone can go to college if they actually try. They might only be able to go to a community college part time and spend the rest of the time working, but they can still go. Also, the military pays for college if you enlist. There are plenty of ways for you to get an education.

No you are sounding arrogant and spoiled. Your position is essentially that if we all try we can make it (which is not true) and that everyone who can't get ahead in life can go fuck themselves.

I never once said they should go fuck themselves. If they want to flip hamburgers for a living, more power to them. If they bitch and moan about how they should be getting more money, then yes, fuck them. They decided to work minimum wage and not do anything with their life so the only one they can blame is themselves.

You're lucky that you have health care because most people don't. And you can believe that only 15% of the country is without health care if you want to but the facts are quite different. I don't know anyone who has coverage at this point. And I'm not "being a whiny bitch," I'm trying to explain to you that many people are fucked over by the way the system works, and that you can't succeed in life just by trying. If you believe that then somewhere in the near future you're going to have a very difficult fall when someone knocks you off your pedestal. The economy's in the toilet, the health care system has very few people covered, a good education is becoming harder and harder to find, and people can't just try and have everything be alright. And stop insulting me, I've never said anything about myself. I go to school every fucking week day 8:00 to 4:00 and I'm not "fine." I'm getting a good education and will probably be able to find a good job, but unlike you I don't take that experience and become an arrogant bastard who's naive enough to think that everyone else is just lazy.

Nearly 47 million Americans, or 16 percent of the population, were without health insurance in 2005, the latest government data available.1

47/305.5*100 = 15.38%

You got me. I was off by .38%. I can't believe I lied like that. I'm worse than Hitler. </sarcasm>

And also, I'm trying to explain to you that the system does work. If you keep your head up and look towards the future you'll do fine. If you sit here now and bitch about how you'll never make it, then you fail. Trust me, I know from experience.

Also, a good education is becoming even easier to find. On most of the large Navy ships they actually have college classes. You get paid, get a diploma, and do the most honorable thing of all for your country. That's a pretty good deal.

So what do you want to happen? You want the greed of the few lucky bastards who are rich enough to support 50 people and still be rich to be the downfall of civilization? You want the fact that they won't give up a few bucks to help the people who are bordering on completely fucked to be the end of our economy? Then what's gonna happen to all the people who are stuck in poverty? What about those of us without health care? You just want us to "live with it?" Huh?

...civilization is not collapsing. The way I see it, we're doing just fine. If you don't think so, then move to Russia as you seem to be in love with communism. Also, the government's not asking for "a few bucks" from rich people. They're asking for a huge chunk of change.

So even if we're completely fucked over by the system, or recognize the fact that others are, we still don't have the right to complain? You seem to endorse the "suck it up" philosophy.

The system's not screwing you over. You're screwing yourself over. I could understand you hating the system if it actually was flawed...but it's not. So yes, you should "suck it up" and do something with your life. Crying will get you nowhere.

Who says that there's no such thing as a fat poor person? Unhealthy food is cheaper than good food these days, and even so that's irrelevant. Not everyone is fat. But many people are poor. And it's not their fault for most of them, they can't get a good job, they can't get a better education. They can choose between mopping floors and going off to war to die and send home a check so that their ten kids can eat for a month. I find it ridiculous that your entire political view seems to be based around the idea that everyone else can go fuck themselves and deal with their own problems. How selfish.

Corn and Water From Drinking Fountain - $.39
Double Cheeseburger with French Fries and a Drink - More than $.39

Healthy food is cheaper.

Also, the "not being able to get a job" excuse is bullshit. There's always a McDonald's hiring. Also, why the hell would you have ten kids if you can't afford to pay the bills? You shouldn't and I hate everyone who does.

And finally, not everyone who goes to war dies. In fact, a small percentage do. There are over 3,000,000 Americans in our Military. There were 4,119 deaths as a result of the war in Iraq.

4119/3mil*100=.1373% chance of death

That's a very small chance and you get a whole lot of respect, knowledge, and a college diploma that will help you out later in life. Your statement, "and going off to war to die" is obviously quite wrong.

Now, I'm done arguing with you unless you can actually prove that a poor person can't succeed in life. I have lots of evidence that one can make it, yet you back up your outrageous claims with nothing.
