Tight game. Ghanaian defenses will frustrate you, German keepers'll a Neuer.

Imagine this is FM and you're managing France.
Would you sit Karim\other key players at half-time?
I fucking would. 3-0, game's dead, rest his ass, shit's not gonna get any easier.
I'd take Lloris off and make him sit next me, and I'd lean into him and joke about how the chairs are a bit small. Maybe I'd even mistake his thigh for my own.
I'd prolly just rest a few for the last group game.
Shaqiri needs more support in attack.
Xhaka! Xhaka! Hey...hey! he's shouting
When did Iniesta get that hair transplant?

Not a great game for the neutrals, this.
THEIR DEFENSE IS LIKE THEIR CHEESE
Decent finish from Matt Tweedy
Rooting for France because I don't like the look of the Swiss keeper. Reminds me of Matt Kuchar. Shaqiri looks decidedly dodgy too, like he owns a pitbull and would kindly offer to cave your face in on a night out in Chelmsford.
That's a sore one.
Insane call to deny a penalty there. England have bought this ref off.
Ooh bloody hell, great response though.
Of course it's allowed to dislike a team, but your posts mainly seemed to be directed at English users posting here, taking the piss out of them (us) and the impression you have that we're all unrelentingly patriotic and optimistic about it all. That's allowed too, but it's also a bit irritating. I wasn't really trying to spark a debate, to be honest.
Back to the football. Chiellini just fell over like penguin might have, if it got hit on the head by a football.

Yes, evolution owing to particular industrialised and agricultural societies which I assume are not what people are referring to when they argue meat eating is something we've evolved to do naturally, given that there is absolutely no requirement to eat meat in that same industrialised, agricultural society.
Not sure what this pamphlet stuff is about to be honest with you. Just general whimsy?

Do you hear your thoughts before you say/type them?
I'll correct you on that (the rest (the assertion children have starved to death through vegetarian diets notwithstanding) is just your stupid opinions that you're entitled to). The geographic prevalence (e.g. in China) of lactose intolerance throughout much of the world is not an allergy, but the inability to digest dairy compounds past infancy due to the lack of agricultural selection pressure.

Don't see it working out the same way, Italy being a much more cohesive and well-organised team than Uruguay. Will probably be a lot more respectful of 'Rica, too.
On the other hand I'd probably quite like the Ricardians to draw/win because, going on the previous performance, they're actually fun to watch.

This 'all English users think they're going to win the cup and anyone who is not a patriotic nutbag is therefore Scottish' thing you have going on is terribly amusing.
Actually it's a bit annoying, there's enough anti-football sentiment going on around here without the dumb nationalistic trolling (post-ironic nationalistic trolling excepted). Let's all just enjoy some bloody good football imo. I know, it sounds sickeningly utopian and naíve (don't know how to do the two-dot thing so going with an italicised dot to symbolise my aspirations of self-betterment).

He somehow thinks that because no other animals drink milk from another species & that eating nothing but veggies/fibre makes pooping feel awesome, that us mere humans hadn't come this far in evolution to actually digest processed & prepared animal products... Even though it's practically mass consumed & produced across the globe.
You are quite obviously falsely presenting a valid retort to the ubiquitously espoused meatism that "If we weren't mean to eat animals, they wouldn't taste so good/we wouldn't be able to digest them." Clearly, the same argument cannot apply to dairy given that vast numbers of the human population worldwide never have evolved the ability to digest lactose past infancy.
Given that even the most fervent pig-bollock fiends tend to accept that eating meat is avoidable and that its production therefore causes unnecessary suffering, yet present vegans as hippie nutters, it's a pretty decent argument insofar as playing the opposition on their own terms goes.

I only watched 5 or 6 episodes, but it was this theme that I was finding tiresome. I don't see any real merit in taking the setting and background of arguably Coen Bros' best film and serialising it in order to convey a message that was not only covered in that original film but several others of theirs since. It seemed unnecessary.
Thought it was basically okay other than that.
Stunning video of Uruguay and Suarez's second goal.
Can't believe John Terry and Ashley Cole both just retired and left us in this mess without a thought for the fans.
