Commeeeeeents!

I like it.
A little busy, but I like it. Probably because it's my favorite colour scheme EVER.

kinda cool but maybe a bit over vectored. Try leaving a blank spot somewhere where you can add better lighting effects or something.

I don't think it's vectored.

At first I thought it was just me... but it seems like everytime you do the NG BBS grey on a sig, it comes out with faint horizontal blue-ish lines that are barely visible... but are there if you look hard enough.

It's weird, I can't even think of an explanation for it.

You were pissed? Should've known better than that.
We were catching the 7 PM showing and were lined up by 5:45. Helluva boring wait, but well worth the amazing seats we got.

That movie is long though, and having a full bladder during the last 20 minutes of it is just painful. Also it breaks my heart knowing that I'll never see Ledger as The Joker again.... that is of course unless his death was faked, and he did it just to get more into his role as The Joker.

That'd be hot. Like Daniel Day Lewis.

Scanlines require subtlety just like lens flares.
Instead of making them black, try grey and then changing the layer filter to overlay or soft light... anything less obvious than big black streaks running across the image.

Geass isn't really that underground of an anime at all though. In fact, when you look past the people who only know the most basic mainstream stuff, most fans of anime will recommend Geass or maybe Elfen Lied as one of their top choices.

I never really got into it cause I've been on an anime hiatus for about 2 years now, but the first episode looked intruiging enough.

I remember people by their sigs for awful reasons and I'm ashamed to admit it.

I remember Tonkpils666 by his sig because he spelt 'Designing' wrong in it, and I remember Prinzy2 by his sig because it doesn't blend properly with the BBS background grey.

Yeah, maybe if you work in a butcher shop.... and not even the hardcore kind of butcher shop - cause that's for level 40s.

You used to make sigs for the SSM? TBH, I don't really remember you, but after lurking through your old posts, I noticed that you actually made several of them for me. Yikes. Alas, my memory fails me again.

P.S. It'll be useful to know that sigs aren't allowed in animated .gif formats anymore. :)

yeah, version 7.0

Remember to flatten all your layers before you save.

Also, just make sure that when you save, you choose the 'Save for web & devices' option. That'll optimize the filesize for web usage. The limit on NG is 40k, so you usually don't (and shouldn't) have to save any lower than 85 Quality.

Depending on their monitor settings, some people may not notice the difference, but if you've got a decent up to date mon. and your settings are at normal brightness, the difference in colour caused by lost quality can be pretty damn noticeable.

You save them at a drastically lowered quality (I assume to make them conform to the size limitations), and that causes you to lose precision in the NG BBS gray areas, thereby making them splotchy and not blended with the forum background.

Are you using Photoshop?

Speaking of GH, I was playing the new GH: Aerosmith today... yeah, booo, I know. Turns out there's at least one song that's extremely fun to play though, and that's 'Walk this way'. Other than that, mehhhh. I'm not even sure if anyone who owns a next gen system is gonna purchase it besides die-hard Aerosmith fans.
