Animation Tests Posted April 22nd, 2013 in Animation

http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/6ad3bfba191fd481a0787b42 ee9783a7

I combined a bunch of recent animation tests. They have just been sitting around collecting dust, so i thought it was time I put them into one file and show them off. Essentially a very basic reel.

Sorry for the parallaxing test, it was my first try. Also it didn't adapt well to a new stage size, apologies!

I have an animatic included in this, it's the fight scene that looks choppy. Don't worry that is NOT the animated final!
Leave your feedback below, thanks.

:indeed, you wouldnt want a cyborg in a medieval game, or would you?

Cyborg from the future, killing knights and saving babes...hell Fucking yes!

I think your best bet would be defining a storyline first. The filling out that story with characters etc. This will make it a lot easier and structured for yourself and animators/artists. Do you have any basis for a story so far?

I can do the HUD/UI myself, but I could use help with charcters, scenery, and other fun stuff. Here is a picture of what I accomplished today, I still need to come up with a story which I could also use some help wth maybe. If this game gets finished and if it makes any money I'll share it 50/50, unless your really awesome in which case you can have it all. I'm not making this game for profits, I'm just making it because I love games. PLEASE send me a message and show me what you can do!

Flash Cs6 Button Problems! Posted December 12th, 2012 in Game Development

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my website I've made for a project in uni. Basically I've made my buttons and linked them correctly however when I test it and run it in Google Chrome/Internet Explorer the website only registers one button click then the rest become useless unless you reload the page. An example of the code I'm using for the buttons is as follows
stop();
//Main Home Button
home1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame);
function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame(event:MouseEvent):void
{
gotoAndStop(1);
}
I've labelled all the instanc names and incremented the "ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame". When I don't change the names of them the website just loops regardless of the stop(); function. Any suggestions?

These are nice, have you thought about using these creatures for an animation or a comic book where you would team up with people ? It would certainly be very interesting :)

Hi guys, just wanted to know what you guys thought of my tattoo design. I thought it suited posting on Newgrounds as it looks like a nice standalone piece. I'm quite happy with it, but would like to know your thoughts :) This is also up in the Art Portal so if you like it feel free to review it :) Thanks .

why r ur graphics lame , soz for being harsh
u already have the actionscript just take more time to draw them into proper humans or whatever they are just not potatoes take some tutorials on shading and drawing take more time ,if u release a game like that its likely to get blammed and you'll feel really annoyed and upset and wouldn't you love to have a really good game that people liked and didnt blam you for ?
