This is how I thought we would have to actually start doing this. We really don't have the money to begin buying new equipment and I just found out how to use my tablet as a midi so that will help triggering and using effects. Darren has that midi keyboard and will be what he surrounds his tracks around too. We might be able to rent some equipment, not sure yet.
The video of Christine Chubbuck is nowhere to be found, trust me. I have looked. Plenty of "those" type of videos on thenyc.com.
This is an extremely interesting thread you have started. I have never tried any typography but have definitely seen it before. I was actually listening to the Killers while I looked over this. :P
All very nicely done. This has made me interested in seeing if I can accomplish anything similar.
This one was more out of boredom....but a great concept so I rendered and kept it. :D
I titled it The Suns Kaleidoscope.
This piece was done for a band here in Cookeville and was suppose to be used for a t-shirt. They never used it but it gave me some good practice and sparked my own idea to start creating my own shirts. Those will start coming next.
So, it has been quite some time since I posted my last image. I have plenty to share. :)
My first will be of my buddy Adam.
Figured I should add this to my portfolio.
This one I created tonight. Wasn't feeling myself........

Then you would like to know that it if finished in the final thread. :) Congrats to everyone on their finished images and goodluck aswell.
Finally finished it. I really want July but, if there turns out to be a better contender for that spot, any other open place will do. After reading the description about how open it was to self-interpretation, I really wanted to show my art style while displaying noticeable Newgrounds material.
Very interesting contest. I am definitely getting in on this.

This, still funny, has a good message. lol

Well, taking my Color Theory course in college right now and did my basic layouts for my final project. I thought this one came out really interesting.
Lately I havent been myself and have been drawing things that haven't made much sense to me. I started to sketch on my computer, not really knowing where my mind was taking me, and created this interesting looking skull that I titled Motivation.

Here are a few I did that I thought would be good adding to my portfolio. This one and the foot one right after it are quite awesome. I would love to put something like that on my front door so people don't knock on it.
Haha. People wouldn't know to either place their hand or foot to knock on your door.
I would say this is a good job since you can't tell the right image looks photoshopped. It looks like your friend just put on some makeup, took a picture, and ended up looking like a joker reject who tried too much.
I titled this one Mr.Freeze.

I think that would be the first time someone has every said that to me, please keep posting.
:)
And with that, I shall continue my work.

There are plenty of anatomy books that display inside and outside the human anatomy to a unbelieveable extend. Try, one of my favorites, Atlas of the Human Anatomy for the Artist by Stephen Rogers Peck. That book has some of the best examples you could use. Other than that try Virtual Poser 3 by Mario Henri Chakkour. That book has nothing but people standing in different positions for your to reference from. It also comes with a DVD so you can spin them around on your computer. Heh
Another piece I did for my school.
