Timber Wolves (aka "Mad Cats")have chicken-like feet. This one is heading from the top-left corner towards the bottom right, with it's torso twisted about 90 degrees to it's right.

So, yes, those are footprints, with two toes in the front and one on the heel.

MechWarrior 3015 was announced last summer.

MechWarrior 4 is going to be re-released "soon" on Mektek.net

MechWarrior: Living Legends, a total conversion mod for Crysis, is going to be released any day now.

2010 is going to be the year of the MechWarrior! As such, I was motivated to make a pencil drawing of a TimberWolf and start this thread, so all my fellow MechWarriors can share their creations!

First drawing from scratch! Posted November 21st, 2009 in Art

Gimp does NOT like my tablet. I couldn't get it to draw straight lines, and they came out all squiggly :(

Anyway, this is a work-in-progress design for a walker for a game I'm designing. I'm in college now learning how to draw, write, and make games, so I'm on my way to achieving my dream!

Response to: flash MX & Vista Posted February 19th, 2009 in Game Development

I would, but I do not have an XP disc.

I'm in a computer repair class, so I know how to partition the HDD and everything.

Well, I've tried everything I know. I guess I have no choice but to drop my class, uninstall MX, and hope that there's a class that teaches Flash 8.

Response to: flash MX & Vista Posted February 17th, 2009 in Game Development

My mom wouldn't like that. I don't have a XP disc anyway.

Response to: flash MX & Vista Posted February 16th, 2009 in Game Development

I ran it in all of the modes. still nothing....

Response to: flash MX & Vista Posted February 14th, 2009 in Game Development

I can't get flash 8. can't afford it, and my class only accepts projects that weremade in flash MX 2004.

Is there any other way other than changing the theme? My mom doesn't like windows classic. (yes, I'm using my mom's computer :P)

flash MX & Vista Posted February 14th, 2009 in Game Development

Whenever I'm using Flash MX, it keeps crashing on me, and Vista only says "this program has stopped working" (No! Really?). I tried running it as an administrator, and in compatibility mode with XP SP2, but it still keeps crashing.

Also, I found this:
http://www.bc.edu/offices/help/meta-elem ents/doc/articles/html/SW-vista-support-
matrix.shtml#f

according to that site, Flash MX does not work with Vista.

Considering so many of you are probably fellow geeks, I thought you could help me come up with a solution. If I can't get Flash MX to work, I'm going to have to drop my Flash class, and I REALLY don't want to do that!

I don't know what is causing it to act that way, but maybe by reinstalling it will reset the program where it will work again.

I would do that, but I'm not on an admin account and I don't know the admin password. I've looked all around the web and tried stuff myself, and I think I'll save up and get my own computer w/ macromedia flash next year.

unless some1 else comes forward w/ help. I'd REALLY like to start animating this year.... :(

OK, get this: I installed Liveswif, the free falsh animator, a few days ago and it was working fine. Today, I FINALLY found a tutorial on newgrounds and Liveswif STOPPED WORKING. GAAHH!!!! This is the 2nd time it did this, the 1st time with liveswif 2.1, this time with liveswif 2.2

Here's what the error message says:

Unhandled exception: 07/05/2008 09:09:21

Jeez, RIGHT when I get excited about FINALLY making my own animations, THAT happens. any1 have any idea what that means? How can I fix it?

If it can't be fixed easily, I think I'll wait until next year, when I'm living on my own and have enough money saved up, and get Macromedia Flash.

I FINALLY found a free flash animator, but IT DOESN"T WORK ON VISTA.

I've bee talking to someone else on NG thats shared the same problem. We both got the latest version from download.com, but after we install it we get an error message saying we're missing a file extension. CAN SOME1 HELP US??

Is it just a Vista problem, or what?

hopefully its better than the version u found. its rated 4/5 compared to the 3/5 urs has

Hey guys I've been looking for a good flash animator but I can't find any. That is, I found some but they expire after a while and want you to pay a ridiculous amount of $$$. Does any1 know where I can get a free flash animator? or at least one that you can use indefinately, and you only have to pay if you want extra features like the .exe programming tool GameMaker 7.0.

Thanks guys!!1!!
