It's been speculated that the Droid will eventually overtake the IPhone in the app market because of the greater amount of freedom they give to developers, also it has a better name.

Topic: The future is inevitable

Forum: General

At 12/3/09 03:36 AM, SmartNoob wrote: Think about this. If it is true, that everything runs on the laws humans have conceived in Chemistry, Physics, etc. then suppose there are two parallel universes. Each one starts EXACTLY the same at the molecular level and everything. On both ones, Earth would have the exact same future. Things would happen exactly at the same time. This topic being created for example, is a result of a massive amount of chemical reactions that nobody could prevent. And if someone does supposedly prevent something, then it's being prevented was obviously inevitable. Therefore what was prevented couldn't have possibly happened.

That's called stating the obvious at unnecessary length. The future is the future, it happens how it happens. The many-worlds interpretation dictates that it can happen differently in an infinitesimal number of parallel universes, but it will only happen in one way under one specific set of circumstances. Maybe that's not quite how the many-worlds interpretation works, but it's something along the lines of that.

I'd most probably get fired for looking like a complete moron on the internet.

Fortunately, there's nothing on this site that would allow them to identify me. Looks like I just craftily outmaneuvered all of my potential future employers.

Alternatively, you could buy yourself a PS3 and a copy of Modern Warfare 2 and have all the guns your little heart desires.

I mean it's not like you'd be using the real one for anything useful.

The stories can be interesting and reading makes you appear smarter.

Movies suck because you don't interact with the movie.

Movies are a good way of escaping from the monotony of daily life.

Video games suck because it's for nerds.

Your signature is an Xbox/Movie reference cross over. LOL!

Soccer sucks because you can't use your hands.

It's a fast paced game that's all about speed and strategy.

Football sucks because there's a break like every 10 seconds.

American football does suck. Australian rules is pretty good though.

Yeah... bad examples.

Although I haven't really been keeping track, I think my grades look something like this:
Maths: A
Physics: A
Biology: A or B
Art: A or B
English: A
Italian: B
History: B
French: C or worse...most probably worse

Anyway, I'm getting my semester report in a few weeks so we shall see.
