ROFLMAO! I remember my first hit...

It was out of my brother's friend's massive glass bong, and he had Blueberry. At first, I thought the smell was weird; it wasn't bad, it was just weird...but as I filled the chamber and cleared it, I felt like I was coughing for four minutes straight.

Coughing is good though, (and don't worry, drooling when you're coughing is natural, albeit embarrassing) when you cough after a huge hit, that means you're going to get higher than usual. lol

I also pissed off my brother's friend, because I went into his kitchen and destroyed all the apple-juice he had left. (worth it!)

The car ride home was awesome. Threw on a good album, reclined the seat, and was just watching out the window.

sounds very much like my first time.
I was at a friends, and he had quavers.
and only when I was high, did I TRULY appreciate those crisps.
I genuinely thought I'd gone to heaven.

while your at it, you should stop having fun.
trust me, you might do something relatively silly one day, and you'd regret it for ever.
also, stop masturbating. who knows, you might tear your skin or something! it's unlikely, but it could happen.
and stop eating chocolate. it'll rot your teeeth, and you'll regret that in the future.

Response to: Invited to try weed: should I? Posted January 9th, 2009 in General

of course theres a chance of addiction, but the chance of addicition is the same as an addiction to, say, chocolate. or cake.
it is, as said before, much more "WANT" than "NEED".
the first time it might not go down very well. thats kind of a given, I was even doing it wrong for months before I realised what the hell I was doing wrong!
and on the topic of smell, it's not AS bad as people say. it doesn't stay for days on end, and if your clever enough to smoke outside then it's not bad at all.
on top of that, it is something thats totally worth trying at least once in your life. an experience like getting lean can't be replicated (apart from perhaps other drugs) and you can't explain it without experiencing it.
just be relatively sensible, and overall enjoy yourself. stuff like marijuana isn't bad in moderation.

I highly doubt that person was being serious.

I really wouldn't be surprised.
it's fashionable to be "different", and disorders seems to be another thing on that list.
my mums a doctor of psychology and assess people for dyslexia and other related mental disorders. a surprising amount of people come in and try to convince her that they are, only to find out they are completely normal.

It's not how "cool" it is to have things. It's rather because people seek scapegoats. Then again, there are little trends in mental problems. Autism and ADHD seems to be the current ones, at one point it was schizophrenia.

but it is.

You idiot. This thread isn't a popularity contest. You should know that. It gives more of a basic understanding of what most of the community is like.

no, but theres always an underlying tone of attention seeking.
it's undeniable that in todays world more and more people seem to have this issues and publisise them in a way to get attention and to attract sympathy.
it's not debatable that people have these problems, I actually recently had a diagnosis and it had some interesting results, but I don't feel the need to shout out about it.
your understanding of the community isn't widened by screaming about how dyslexic you are, among other things.

health care.

the government wants people to not smoke or do drugs simply because it increases your chances of taking advantage of free health care. the more people who die at old age, the more money the government makes.

why on earth you want to come to england fascinates me, it's pretty much the arsehole of the planet.
spend your money on a trip to southern france or italy... somewhere where you could enjoy yourself, rather than a cheap emulation of america with a failing economy and more social problems than a STI carrying whore.

but if you do come to england, visit bristol.

but don't.

sorry to be a douche and point this out, but evidence actually shows that suicide rates are higher when it's NOT a holiday or weekend. this is because people are encouraged to be sociable at such events and tend to not think so negatively.
I'll find a source in a bit, but the suicide rate is definatly lower on holidays.

Same thing?

nope.
autism and aspergers are on the same spectrum of mental disorders (accompanied with ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalcula etc.) but with different effects and makeups. I couldn't tell you much because I know more about the slightly less damaging disorders such as dyslexia, however, there is a difference between autism and aspergers. it's probably something to do with the autistic hate of social contact, while with aspergers that tends to develop less, and is more to do with focusing on a specific subject/routine.

it isn't that funny.
it's funny for one person who ruins the game for everybody else on the team. no, I'm not being a spoil sport or ruining your fun. if you want to kill everything, go play Free for all on your game. people buy games like CoD4 and TF2 so they can relax and if your purposly going to kill people to wind them up your missing the point of the game.
it's like buying a video game specifically to use cheats on it. pointless and missing the original concept of the game.

People are fucked up.

the experiments the scientists did in the camps tended to be on twins, since the nazi's were fascinated by them. however the experiments done in unit 731 are far worse, since they involved pregnating women and taking the unborn children from the womb among many other sadistic and horrific experiments.

the reason you wont have heard about it is because that paticular war (sino-japanese I think) wasn't taught about in schools or publisiced in anyway in schools or even told in the news while it was happening.
just shows how ignorant we are to something that doesn't effect us.
