I don't see your logic. do you mean it has to be the same ratio? because I'm doing fine with my 6x8er.

Well, I didn't really mean ratio but yes, screen ratio to tablet ratio SHOULD be important too, because otherwise you would draw circles and see ellipses, right?

But I'm talking about actual size. I have a 9x12 Wacom tablet. and I was drawing on a 24" screen. So my fine articulate strokes were completely out of proportion and I wasn't able to properly gauge even simple things like where to start and stop my lines.

So, I learned something valuable about my drawing style and Wacom tablets today...

The size of your Wacom tablet must be equal to, or larger than the area on your screen. that you are drawing.

This may seem obvious to many vets here... but this is something I could never figure out!

It really helped me get my brush strokes under control.

This image is about 1200x1000px and I was actually drawing on it zoomed out to 25%, so effectively 300x250px and even though its just scribbles I'm very happy with the depth of line I was able to achieve!

I learnt something about Wacom

Yeah you've seen it, likely somewhere in the house theres a product proudly trumpeting its lack of trans fats. Before that it was carb free. And before that it was low salt and low fat, etcetera unto infinity.

I want Newgrounds to help me be Psychic and predict what the next food packaging fad is going to be.

My guess? Eco-Friendly or Green packaging. What do you think NG?

Arguably, if you know what you're doing on any machine you wont get a virus. Take the machine I'm posting on PC for example; its running Vista Ultimate. I've disabled my hardware and software firewalls. Its not even running anti-virus or anti-spyware protection of any kind and I haven't had a problem yet. I check my system processes every now and then and Google any I don't know. Seems kind of like a redundant way to look for viruses but it is foolproof thus far.

I use Windows, Mac, and an Ubuntu box. They all have their uses. Windows for Gaming, Mac for Media, and Ubuntu for squeezing every last ounce of performance out of my network.

What I don't get is why people think Macs are cool... I mean the media management, aside from being proprietary, is pretty cool. But honestly, most users who think that a Mac is cool have never used the Adobe Suite or Final Cut Pro or any of the high priced software that makes them worth while. They're also difficult to customize and they are gloriously over-priced.

So, what makes a Mac "cool"?

Cool, thanks for the webcomic link.

Heres a short list of possible races.
Elementals (ever see Chronicles of Riddick?).
Armos (living armor, would be an extremely fun race to develope IMO).
Seraphs (winged humans, my personnel favorite).
Draconians (Large bi-pedal reptiles).
Spectrals (Energy based race of creatures that have connections to the spirit world but are not undead).
Lillith (plant based forest folk)

Sportingboy, its really only more fun if you think its more fun, it doesn't actually make you better at anything (like a placebo). So my suggestion to not get it and save yourself the money really depends on if you think you'll have more fun using it than just the wiimote. If you think about it long enough you'd even realise that the blaster still has a bit a weight to it, and I don't know about you buy lighter controlly means less strain, which means better gaming session. But likely you've made up your mind about this already and are wasting everyone's time :(

How about a winged race?

Also your Canid race, a race of gianthumaniod dogs, is quite similar to another well know species known as Lycanthropes or Lycans for short. Most common of which is the Werewolf.

The Wii blaster is just another convention for holding the wiimote, it will not make you more "accurate". All you need to do is practice using the controller you have and that will make you much better at aiming. So in short, don't waste your money on it. Also if you want accurate reviews I'd recommend Metacritic. They use and average score based off of dozens of review sites.

I rented it for my Sega but I wasn't very good at it, I went on the internet to try and get cheats for it but gamefaqs doesn't exist yet :( and dial-up is too slow to spend time searching for cheats. So I'm going to go buy a Sega turbo controller and let the game fight for me!
