Sorry bout that, i should've clarified that, but if you still want to post some of your stuff, go for it, I'll be glad to see it
I've been messing around more in Photoshop and I've learned how to integrate the Pen tool into my work a lot more, this is an update on an older drawing of mine and I've yet to color it, I'm not really good at coloring yet. So I'm asking you all for either some advice on future projects and/or some of your own line art
Thanks, thats a really good idea
I'm able to make skeleton structures pretty well, just putting them in fighting poses is the hard part so most of the time there just left there standing doing nothing, I've tried several times to make a drawing with 2 characters fighting but I'm just not good at that yet. This picture I just drew up about an hour ago off the top of my head, I have him attacking a wooden post, but what I really wanted to do with it was make him fighting another character.
Well, I've been drawing things all of my life, and recently I have realized that there is still alot I have trouble drawing, such as points of perspective, shading and just putting things in a variety of angles, like most of my drawings just have characters standing still with no life in them, and I need some help to make them in action, so my question you guys would be, Any advice?
I know theres a few parts that are messed up, like her jaw line, but this is the best I can do in 15 minutes lolz
so a tablet isn't the best way to go then eh? well thats cool. I usually scan the pencil drawing (cause i tend to have graphite smudges) and print out a copy and go over it in pen, then i'll just magic eraser the smudgy white area out and darken the lines a bit and give it color.
lolz, yeah I know, the first time I saw the magic wand I laughed my ass off, I've been using photoshop for a while, I just recently started editing my drawings with it. Anyways, I think thats a great idea dude, I'll try that out, and yeah i've been told several times about the drop shadows being lame for anything except flat objects. well im going to post the one that I finished a while ago on here without the drop shadow, and yeah I know I still have a few things to work on.
Well I have another thread on here with one of my pieces of work called "my first attempt at digital art" and I think I need to come up with a different approach for my other drawings, What I did on the first 2, I just went over each line with a pt.3 black brush and i then colored it a little at a time, and when I would get done with that I would add certain effects to it such as drop shadow and some shading, and someone said I neglected shading in most areas and I agree with them, I just think i need a new approach to this, but It's hard since I don't own one of those tablets, I really need some ideas guys, I'm going to post up some of my sketches along with the pic I have in the other thread.
yeah I thought the same thing as i was drawing it, i've always been partial to elf like ears.
I really don't see how the feet are out of alignment, I can see that they are too big and at an odd angle but thats it, and as for the hand i can see where i messed up there too
yeah I know that I'm really inexperienced with coloring, I really need to work on that, do you have any suggestions on how I could get better at that?
chyaruzu is one of my nicknames and i sign all of my finished work with it
I took one of my favorite drawings and I edited it in photoshop, it took me a while to do since I don't own one of those digital drawing pad thingies. I'm particularly proud of this one, but I want you guys the give me some constructive criticism on it, that would be greatly appreciated.
