Well usually it would make sense that if your standing on a bus holding onto rails etc. and someone gets off at a spot and theres a free seat that you would sit down right?

Well for some reason, on the island I live one, when the bus I go on gets full, and people start standing, they stay standing.

So if someone gets up and gtfo of the bus, the people standing don't sit down.

Then it gets weirder when there are like 10 seats open and the standing people keep standing.
