threads like this offer no discussion or anything useful at all.

it just encourages people to post about how much they hate it or how "gay" it is, and then fans of the game get in flame wars with people who troll or people who dislike the game.

Anybody who posts a thread about a huge broad topic and has 1 line about the topic should get banned and the thread should be deleted.

Isnt it highly ironic how the most dangerous part of cannabis is jail time and getting killed over it?

stoners are actually pretty chill people, despite what you think about the violence and criminal activity. The only reason theres violence and criminal activity in the first place is because its illegal!

And breaking it down to quarter pounds and selling those for $1000 each is a great way to sell it. This could give you over 120k easily.

Ive seen and also been involved in quarter pound deals. They arent dangerous at all lol

And then immediately calls the police. Hes a 61 yr old dentist from manhattan.

It was pretty dank weed too apparently. He could have gotten more than 50k if sold right, or he could have retired and spent the rest of his life smoking weed lol.

As of right now the poll shows 65% of people would call the police also. I mean wow...

We're talking about 13 year olds who just want to up their stats as fast as they can, not 'educating' them would be a waste of time considering the mentality of the typical NGer.

how in the world can you say education is a waste of time? 13 year olds are in school learning, all they do everyday is learn, how is teaching them something not going to work? childrens minds are like sponges.

and if what you say is true, then what does this mean when you try to educate them on anything else in their life?

Response to: The state of the Portal and Reviews Posted April 4th, 2011 in General

I have personally seen all of the issues youve listed...theyve been getting worse every year.

Theres nothing we can do about it. As long as the issues 'can' happen or 'able' to happen, they will happen. Theres nothing anybody can do. If the system allows it, people will abuse it.

we could possible educate NGers about proper voting and what the stats actually mean? we could do this. would it help at all? i dont know.

Im just posting a news article to show whats really going down in the country below the U.S.

Big Banks launder drug money Posted April 4th, 2011 in General

www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/apr/03/us-
bank-mexico-drug-gangs

Prohibition of drugs has created a huge black market. This article is about the Mexican drug cartels getting their money laundered by Wachovia (now part of Wells Fargo). Its a long article, but heres a section worth reading:

"More shocking, and more important, the bank was sanctioned for failing to apply the proper anti-laundering strictures to the transfer of $378.4bn - a sum equivalent to one-third of Mexico's gross national product - into dollar accounts from so-called casas de cambio (CDCs) in Mexico, currency exchange houses with which the bank did business.

"Wachovia's blatant disregard for our banking laws gave international cocaine cartels a virtual carte blanche to finance their operations," said Jeffrey Sloman, the federal prosecutor. Yet the total fine was less than 2% of the bank's $12.3bn profit for 2009. On 24 March 2010, Wells Fargo stock traded at $30.86 - up 1% on the week of the court settlement.

The conclusion to the case was only the tip of an iceberg, demonstrating the role of the "legal" banking sector in swilling hundreds of billions of dollars - the blood money from the murderous drug trade in Mexico and other places in the world - around their global operations, now bailed out by the taxpayer."

Response to: The first Yu-Gi-Oh game Posted March 31st, 2011 in General

the original yu-gi-oh manga was about the millennium item yugi had that made him the 'game master' or some shit.

he would see people doing bad things, and then challenge them to some game he just made up in like 2 seconds. the game was usually related to the 'bad things'.

It was kind of lame. In one episode, there was a card game involved. it was such a huge hit with readers, that the entire manga was transformed to be about the card game.

TheSporkLord is right.

Just because the majority of people believe something does not make it "true".

Morality is particularly susceptible to this.

If, for example, in a culture of some country that has been far removed from the modern world holds a yearly ritual in which they sacrifice one of their own to some god, would that be wrong?

If we tried to do that in our society, yes, it would.

In their society, no, it is a perfectly moral and normal thing to do. Do you have any right to tell them they are wrong if it is a deeply held belief they have, simply because you believe yourself to be from a "better" society?

No. Don't argue with this. You don't. Everyone has their own beliefs and culture.

first off, your example is useless as it deals sacrifices to a god. we all know that is the most retarded shit a religion could make you do, besides start wars.

2nd off, im stating that the preservation of life and logic/science should dictate us. nothing else. because the scienctific method has given us the world we live in today with incredible technology nobody had even 500 years ago.

if you honestly think thats a bad viewpoint, then be sure to remain ignorant your whole life and just be a nihilist.

lol imagine if everybody just gave up like you people are suggesting...you people have to be fucking retarded.

we are equal in terms of DNA and species classification. If this isnt important enough to you, maybe you should go be a hermit and live alone by yourself since you could never look at anybody as your equal. Good luck with marriage also.

THIS WHOLE GOD DAMN TIME I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL AND HIS OWN BELIEFS. The reason killing people is seen as wrong? Because the majority of the people in a society say so. However, that does not make it applicable to every person on earth and it can not be seen as " truth " or " fact ". Ever heard of perspective, or perspectivism? The view that all truth is truth from or within a particular perspective. The perspective may be a general human point of view, set by such things as the nature of our sensory apparatus, or it may be thought to be bound by culture, history, language, class, or gender. Since there may be many perspectives, there are also different families of truths.

k then lets introduce anarchy and let everybody kill everybody and see how far we get. mass murder, death, hate, and anger will rule.

our brains have evolved to the point of emotions and feelings. this means in order to live a happy life you must fullfil these emotional needs. a healthy society does this. science gives us the technology to have the healthy society. science rules over all.

i dont think you understand why its important for you and your species to be healthy and be alive...maybe you should just kill yourself?

BTW, what is your ultimate answer then? we shouldnt even try because nothing is known as fact and its impossible for everybody to share a perspective?

my ultimate answer is life, science and technology. whats yours?

only worrying about yourself and ME ME ME does two main things:

for one, you cant have a family. reproduction is important in life (in case you didnt know thats how its created)

two, you cant live or be around any other humans. only thinking about yourself means anything you want to do you should do it because thats what you want, without considering any other people.

also, you should learn the difference between facts and truth. hint: facts can change
