I really think a plush pico doll would go over big, a SHOTGUN MAN POSTER, is something id consider buying, dude, you need to make a poster with all of newgrounds most classic characters together in a group photo, robocop,stickslayer,pico,shotgunman,eskimo bob, all those infamous characters in one poster would OWN, and would sell. what do you think?

Pardon my bluntness, but its about damn time!! The game and alpha section, all of NG mag is rotting to the core,we needs some serious updates, im tired of seeing phsycic steve as a feature under gadgets. new portal might not be a bad idea, i also have an idea to maybe get rid of the crap movies on NG, somewhere show the lowest scoring movies of all time, this way people can see whats at the bottom of the pile, and vote accordingly ;););)

ya even on my adsl connection it screws around with me sometimes. egad. junior year just started for me and i am fuckin swamped, skater video and rob3 are delayed like hell, i dunno when the hell ima finish them.

i use goldwire for sounds although i have not been working with sounds lately, i use that last for my animations, and as for frames, YES use as many as you need, motion tweens plenty, backround is one layer, each characterhas its own layer, extra graphics or backrounds motion all has its own layer, if you look at my movies, some of the scenes are 20 layers. so checkem out maybe youll get some ideas

i been helping quite a few new flash people draw and stuff, if your looking for game help i sujjest contacting tool god, otherwise holler an email my way, first of you need flash, either get the trial or download it from musiccity.com on morpheus, if you need a serial number feel free to email me for one, although some of them on morpheus have serials with them. the file flash 5 FULL + serial is a good file, no viruses or anything. as for drawing, when ye open it right click the stage, there you can adjust the size and backround color, as well as frames per second, thats what i would start you of on, reply or email me for additional help.

onion skins are key for good motion and frame by frame drawing animation, there are two buttons together on your timeline, one gives you a faded image of the frames before the one your working on, and the other gives a bright outline, when you click them youll see a bar apear above your timeline, you can move it, and it will show you the faded or outlined images of the frames inside the bar, this is like making a flip book over a lamp, when your drawing you can see the drawing beneath the paper and go accordingly to make better motion and animation, faded images i suggest for light backrounds, they are hard to see over a black backround ussually, and i sujjest them for when you want to see more then 2 frames behind the one your on, the outline shows up better over black and is good for when you only want to see one frame behind, if you have it on outline and 5 frames behind you show it can be pretty confusing if your drawing or moving something complicated. if you have any other specific questions feel free to email me . id be glad to help ye out.

but you can make a simple one frame animation saying due to the fact that you couldnt bear seeing them online anymore you have removed them and replace the original file with that, a clever technique will stamper used a while back -.-

good of you to notice, the exp number you need to have before advancing to the next level goes up 2 points each day, so i needed 1490 and deposited having that, but halfway through the day the numberof exp needed went up to 1492, thus dropping me back to 12level status, ill secure my bat tommorow i guess.

the sound you imported should be on the options list, just click it and you should see your keyframe turn to the vibes of a music clip..

i think , maybe a thumbs up, thumbs down, and not neccesarily a mediocre button (which might stand for 50% or whatever,) but a strengthen the current score, like if a movie has a 3.21 and you watch it and say hmm the score is just fine , they can strengthen the current score, then obviously the thumbs up can be used to lower or highten it, thad be cool, of course, the strengthen first score would be darkened if no votes have been cast yet, simple scripting im sure.

i just figured id share this with everyone im sure yall know about it already and im just being a moron , buuut if you draw a sketch with the paint brush tool, you can make an awesome graphic with it, just copy the sketch and insert a new symbol, graphic and paste the picture on the first frame.

Then insert a new keyframe, highlight the pic and go to Modify>optimize and setthe horizontal bar allmost all the way to the left, and itll optimize the pic just a bit, insert another keyframe and highlight the pick and optimize it just a bit further, copy the second keyframe, and insert a fourth keyframe and paste the second keyframe there, go to Control>loop playback, and then play it and you have an awesome moving graphic!!!

the great thing about theseis that they catch the eye alot more then a plain still pick does because the eyes have to adjust to the little bits of motion in the picture, thus making them look more and keep their attention longer, a good example of a picture like this is toolgods intro to his site(awesome dude) or the pic in my profile, not as impressive but gets the point across. good luck!!
