What major religions have a pot connection? (Honestly curious)
How did pot lead to the end of hunter gather behavior?

I think we can all learn from robocop on this one.
But in all seriousness why shouldn't I or someone in MY family have the final say in regards to my body? I wouldn't be happy knowing I took organs that someone genuinely did not want to give. And this is coming from a marrow and blood donor.

Gah angry self righteous pothead above.

So one of the common arguments involves alcohol but the that is really an apples and oranges comparison.
For many different reasons alcohol consumption is cemented in human history.

Some say it is responsible for the rise of civilization.
There are religious connections to alcohol.
Historically it was a substitute for water when clean water wasn't an option.
In a social setting alcohol is less intrusive to those not participating -Drinking vs Smoking

All of these go towards making alcohol more socially acceptable.

But you can't really compare them. Nor should the comparison ever be used, just because one harmful drug is allowed another should be?

Maybe there wouldn't be so much oppsition if potheads weren't generally a burden on society

You can find dozens of arguments going both ways. But what you stand to lose according to some sides as opposed to what you stand to gain is outrageous, to me at least to even consider smoking pot.

Response to: Game length not everything Posted January 7th, 2013 in Video Games

You seem to measure difficulty differently then many of us do. If a game is longer with content instead of fluff it is better. Your argument that some "long" games are padded. Some games don't even need to exist. You are making a case against some games instead of long games.

Witcher 1 & 2, Fallout 1,2, Vegas, More then half the FFs,(FFI, FFIV, FFVI, FFX being my favorites) Fire Emblem series, KOTOR 1&2, DA:O, TES series, Arcanum, Divine Divinity, BG series 1 & 2, PS:T, Persona series, The World Ends With You, Golden Sun, DQ series, Shining Force, Dues Ex, Super Mario RPG, FFT.

These are all games I wouldn't mind buying for full price (most of them I did)
Now notice a pattern? Yeah, time sinks and ones I deeply enjoyed. People want bang for their buck.

CoD? Waste of time and the single player, doesn't even need to be there.
Most arcade games? Dull games that rely more on reflexes then thinking.

Our government needs to stop creating jobs for the sole purpose of creating them. We need to cut spending and entitlements.
The increased money from taxes is laughable compared to the projects Obama is planning on.
