For us? Probably unforeseeable. We know that natural disasters tend to increase when the world's climate changes. The current climates will also change. But the world needs change in order to survive, that is a repeatedly reoccurring theme.

Why is this still being discussed the two VITAL parties that need to make this happen have already said no.
It's still not effective as we saw in the Aurora shooting, the guy got past all those psychological tests and got guns. That's what I was disappointed in, none of the solutions proposed seemed to have addressed that.
The Aurora shooter went out of his way to go a gun free theater. There were larger and closer theaters then the one he hit. And even better his AR-15 jammed he switched to pistols (Which kill far more then rifles)

What about where the only option is to fight back or see your family raped and killed? You can't go straight to the situation where everything is fine if you don't resist. That isn't fair or realistic.

If a debate deserves someone to argue the other side it would have people debating for it. In the end only weak arguments have been offered.
Your only real argument is racism still exists so lets keep other racist and discriminatory policies. And I find it offensive to suggest that minorities like myself need help because of some bigots.
If you want to enforce laws that punish people being discriminatory fine, that is fine. It is wrong to discriminate. You don't get to say one form of racism is acceptable because others exist.
