I'm sorry I can't take someone seriously who wants someone to work for 1 day in a single school for the entire school year as a guidance councilor.

One guy who is needed to be available to students running around 44 schools for one, two days max. And you want this one part time guy (Who would want to get a masters to get 14k?) to help the 40,000 students in those 44 schools.

Bull shit America is a Police State there are cops everywhere you look.

You can say that all you want, but until you turn this country into minority report police can't prevent crime. They can discourage, stop, and respond.

Pretty sure basic fire techniques would be enough to cook them alive. But dodging lasers seems a bit much for a generic jounin...
Bullets beat swords as well.

High velocity projectiles can be stopped by basic earth style etc. But we also need to consider the use of explosive tags vs rocket launchers.

I don't see the harm in splitting them up to better reflect the voting. Since hey, you know it wouldn't of mattered anyway?

1 day a week going to the schools he/she is needed at. Still 1,000,000,000,000,000 times more useful than that amount spent on assault rifles.

No that's bullshit just admit it.Just one person, to cover 44 schools and 40,000 students. And considering the amount of traveling they'd need to do. And parents, what about the parents demanding time. No one person is not enough to cover 40,000 students.

The travel alone would rack up cost unless you want their part time 14k job to pay for travel expenses as well. Or how bout their office? You are talking about 180 divided by 44 so each school will never have their counselor for even 5 days. Assuming he worked every day (which isn't full time)

$14,000 is more than enough to get a school counselor to come on part time. Seems to me that a school counselor is a heap load more useful to students than a pile of fancy and shiny cobweb launching points.

So, you were saying?

One guy who makes on average 50k a year split between 44 schools? just part time? Yeah cool brah.

Response to: Gun Control Does Not Work (proof) Posted January 24th, 2013 in Politics

I still feel that killing is wrong, even if you're killing some one who is trying to rob you, and I morally resent anybody who thinks that killing another person is something that they should prepare well for, but if you're going to have guns in society this seems like a pretty mature way to do it.

So do you feel it is inappropriate to kill someone who is raping and killing your family? Let's be calm and understanding. I guess if it was just your wife being raped then getting her throat slit, it wouldn't be appropriate to kill the guy. I mean we haven't even tried to understand his feelings yet. We just saw our family in danger and responded, I can't blame you for resenting someone who is prepared to kill another to defend their family.

Someone has broke into my house, let me calm down and take five and try to figure out if they just want to rob me or if I should fear for my own life or my family. Maybe I could go up and ask them if they mean to assault me or my loved ones.

Hell he is probably high, it isn't his fault it's the drugs. Maybe we should help pay for his rehab, him taking your money and your ability to care for your family isn't wrong, he is just taking what he needs. You have a house and family you can afford to give a little more to the guy who frequents the crack house.

You are willfully close minded to the actual danger present in these situations. You don't know shit other then someone is in your house who shouldn't be. Sure they might be stealing your stuff, but it might also be a serial rapist or some druggie suffering from major paranoia and violently unstable. You don't have the luxury to just wait until it is over sometimes.

Not only that you shamelessly compare two amazingly different countries to each other and say, this works here.
Gun crimes are usually committed by criminals, guess how criminals get guns, hint hint not legally.

What about them? (Ive been through this with others, there is NO proof of that)

Obama still won enough electoral votes to win without Ohio.

No proof? Look at registered voters how is 108% of an entire district voting for one candidate not fishy?

What you said are my thoughts exactly! There is no taking away of firearms either... Now I don't agree with the assault ban and clip ban but it should be a helluva lot harder to get these guns, show you've earned your right to bear arms.

You seem confused. The right to bear arms is a right, not a privilege you earn.

Piracy isn't theft. You need to physically take away something to steal something. You cannot compare real life examples to internet piracy because you can't duplicate someone else's matter and take off with it IRL.

Billions of species have probably gone extinct in the Earth's life. Many, well before humans had anything to do with it. The natural warming cycle of the Earth is something (Which will happen regardless of humans) should be stopped to prevent extinction is laughable and reckless.

You make many assumptions in that statement.

IF you bothered looking at statistics and knew about bullets and firearm design you'd know that an "assault weapon" was never designed to make death inevitable. But the use of HP rounds most certainly does, and those are used in pistols.
