Honestly, the USA simply wasn't around soon enough to have many unique dishes that aren't based off something else.

Not even Israel's air defense system is that great the PAC-2 for example has a 40% success rate. But I could go on about missile defense for awhile and that is off topic.

By the way I don't believe South Korea's system is even fully in place yet. I believe it is supposed to be done around 2014-15

Personally I think of sex as being similar to food. There's junk food, healthy food, meals that can give you food poisoning, or even something you might consider holy, like communion. But it's pretty rare for food to be poisonous enough to kill you, and all things can be healed given the time.
