Through DOSbox and GOG pretty much all games that otherwise wouldn't work on a modern OS receive new life. In case they don't, there's always the possibility to emulate OS.

This so much Cyber, emulation for a system I don't want to hook up handles the rest.

You really can't accuse other people of being ridiculous when, in the same breath, you make the claim that Democrats win elections by bribing minorities with cash.

I'm pretty sure I saw Putin give Obama the stink eye the last time he was there...now why is that? What is Putin up to? Could he be having desires to throw us back into the cold war? Just asking questions, better safe than sorry. We should do something about this now while we have the chance.

Russia has been rather backwards in their foreign policy lately..

That's why I'm mocking him...I did not see where he sourced where he got his 90% figure from.

that figure is a pretty incredible claim he needs to back it up, but I can't find a source remotely like that, like i said.

There is no source to debunk, it isn't credible to begin with.

Actually, glorification of the nuclear family over the extended family goes hand in hand with population decline. The extended family is more about the people and the relationships, so growing it is considered a goal. The nuclear family is more of a day to day issue, and what governs day to day decisions? MONEY. Money is perhaps the biggest downward force on population. Children are expensive, and without support from the extended family the price for having and caring for them skyrockets even further.

I'm not disagreeing with you, in fact I'm saying this is part of why the benefits exist. The glorification I was referring to was government and media. Luckily the U.S. still has one decently growing group.

Those arguments always made me laugh. Who the hell has a child just because the birth rate is declining? People have children on the basis that they could afford it, whether they truly want one or whether they'll have the time to raise it. No one goes "the population is declining so we must have 10 children to strengthen our nation" unless you live under a totalitarian regime.

You don't really understand the basics of the argument based on what your saying. It isn't about people strengthening the nation. It is about the government trying to give people incentive to combat natural population decline. If you even bothered to look at US history you'd see a glorification of the nuclear family not long ago. And population decline is a legitimate concern in many nations but it isn't just about population decline it also has to do with the worker/retiree future ratio.

like I said at the start, you must be laughing because you don't understand what is actually being said.

Mason's patience with talking to a brick wall who doesn't even read the articles he himself links is impressive. Personal speculation on "Assault Weapons" isn't good enough a reason to ban them. The DoJ itself says that high capacity mags and an assault weapon ban wouldn't have an effect.

I think I liked Saen better..

Response to: Gun Control Does Not Work (proof) Posted March 26th, 2013 in Politics

All you can in a gun fight without gun, is to stay out of the line of fire until you get the opportunity of being withing range for a proper disarm. And even then, the risk is huge. I agree, being a martial artist is useful, but a martial artist+gun is better.

Martial artists do poorly in street brawls.

The only thing I don't like about cut scenes is when they aren't skippable. But I loathe little scripted events that aren't considered cut scenes that you can't skip.

I'm from the Netherlands so I can't argue with this statement. I can feel my IQ slowly decreasing the more I stay here in the USA, due to the people I have to associate with. Although with 145 I can afford to lose some.

Sounds like you need a better circle of associates.

Irrelevant, it has the same mental effect. They avoid causing physical harm to that extent only because they want to avoid killing the guy (for obvious reasons).

Oh no same mental effect, how terrible. Our "torture" isn't even remotely as scary as their punishment for rape.

Sniper was the most generic, soulless sludge I've ever seen. Crysis and Fable just got worse. I lost interest in Jak & Daxter after the first game, it went from a platformer to a GTA clone. X-2 was completely unnecessary and only made X's story worse in every way.

X-2 had solid game play and X was certainly a good game. The heavy handed fan service is what hurt it.

I liked the second CoD, and the VERY first modern warfare was kind of interesting imho. CoD still sucks though.
