He was in Sonic 06 and Sonic Rivals 2. And he's also been in a lot of spin-offs lately.

What the fuck is this shit?

Every Time I Die are decent for what they are, but it's not really my kind of music. So I don't know how Buckley's going to do.

I'm not even going to count the Fall Out Boy guys as a negative. Hurley seems to be a very good drummer if this is anything to go by. And I'm almost positive that Trohman can do more than the 3 chords he's used throughout his career up until this point.

Anthrax? Don't get me fucking started on Anthrax.

I don't suppose anyone would be kind enough to tab the solo in this song for me?

I've never been great at figuring things out by ear, to be honest.

If anybody can help, it'd be much appreciated.

That was the worst thing I've seen on TV in a while.

There were collectively about 90 seconds during which I didn't feel like strangling the writers.

I'd expect this from RTD, and I see that this Phil Ford hack wrote most of the second season of The Sarah Jane Adventures, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

In my opinion, it's the best COD since 2.

The plot was rock solid and full of twists and surprises that I wouldn't expect from a typical big-budget FPS. The set-pieces are stunning; they really redefine 'epic' (when not being used in a Power Metal or High Fantasy context). The gameplay was as good as ever, and the online is still the highlight.

But what really grabbed me this time round were the characters. They seemed much more fleshed out than in any other Call of Duty game. They actually had personalities, and I was genuinely sad when (SPOILERS) they died.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where the Modern Warfare storyline goes next.

I did feel sort of guilty about buying it, though. Activision having turned into jerks and all.

I think Heavy Metal is just the universal term used to describe all metal bands, period.

I don't consider it a genre.
Well you're wrong.

Look at Iron Maiden? They're not Power or Thrash.
Manowar? A bit Powery at times, but on the whole they're not, especially their early stuff.
Slough Feg could be considered HM.
Motorhead.
Saxon
Judas Priest
I agree with Nev here. Iron Maiden isn't thrash or power, and same with Saxon and Judas Priest. They don't fit into any other genre except standard metal. I just consider them straight up metal.

I prefer the term 'Vanilla Metal'.

Everything is better when compared to ice cream.

I guess that would make Power Strawberry Metal, or something.

Link.

The article mentions that "Venezuela's consumer protection society would have full decision making abilities over what games to ban." But given the fact that this ban was okayed in the first place, I don't think many games will make the cut. Games that people want to play, anyway.

Different article by Venezuelan gamer Guido Núñez-Mujica.

The first article also mentions that it's 'three to five years' jail time for each sale of a game or a toy weapon.

So, what do you guys think of this?

Tribal conflict?

Wars between nations aren't caused by religion. Wars are almost always waged for one of two reasons; Practical reasons, and bigoted reasons.

An example of the former would be: "Hm. Our country doesn't have much of [resource], but I see [country] has a shitload of [resource]. Let's take over [country], and then their [resource] will be ours!"

As for the latter: "I say, look at those savage [different culture] over the hill, there. They sure do suck. Maybe we can help [different culture] become better by imposing our culture on them. It won't fix them completely, but it'll do some good, at least."

I'm glad you asked, anonymous internet user. The answer is quite simple ;

You can cut dudes in half with it.

Like, completely separate their torso from their lower body in a fountain of blood. Sometimes, they would break down and soil themselves just a split second before you half them.
You can do that in MadWorld with a regular chainsaw, double chainsaw, katana, dual daggers, or your bare hands.

Then you can curb-stomp the head of the still-living torso. Or, in the case of some mini-bosses, you can cut off their head and jam it on another guy's head.

Yeah, but Madworld's violence is more stylized and cartoony.

Shadow of Rome was both pretty graphically impressive for its time, and fairly realistic.

Although I'm pretty sure Mark Anthony wasn't a pyromaniac.

You can cut off a giant man's arm and beat him to death with it by cutting off his head.

Then you can take that same head, yell to the crowd in triumph, and hopefully, persuade them to throw you the Magnus sword.

You could also stay suspended in mid air for a few seconds with it if you powered up a certain attack, for some reason.
