Very much yes. I have one of those guys in my fridge. I think I'm gonna finish my day with it tomorrow. White Rascal so nice when it's hot out.

It's definitely a place I've wanted to go to. I'm loving American beers, but I have the feeling that they probably don't even compare.

I've tried some Oskar Blues and I've had a stout float with the Left Hand Nitro. But I haven't tried them all too much. From what I hear, Oskar Blues Ten Fidy Imperial is an awesome stout, but I can never find it.

I will have to give it a try just because of the adorable name if not for the endorsement.

But in this context aren't they the band that got too big for indie kids to like of beers?
I still haven't really given them too much of a shot. I think I tried Boston Lager once a few years ago when I didn't even like beer. I should pick one up next beer run.
Hey, NG. Going to school in Colorado for a while has introduced me to the wonder that is microbrews! There are so many here and it makes it really easy to find great beer. I haven't been over 21 for too long, but in my few months as a big kid, I've traveled around Colorado a bit and tried a bunch of beers.
So I ask of thee, how do you guys feel about craft beers? Are there any specific beers or brewers that really stand out to you? Any major hop-heads out there?
Some personal favorites (Maybe a bit Colorado biased):
North Coast: Old Rasputin
Odell: Myrcenary
Great Divide: Hercules
Dogfish Head: Sah 'Tea
Avery: TROGDOR

Well, as a young'un in the states, I didn't know too many of them (still don't) so when I heard OK Computer after not caring too much for them at all, it blew my mind as a kid. I didn't see that much growth from the other rock groups I listened to.
From a guy who doesn't listen to rock or alt rock all that much anymore, I like how they have evolved. The variety from Pablo Honey to King of Limbs is pretty nuts. Because of this, I think everyone can find a Radiohead album that they remotely enjoy.
Also, I'm pretty sure a lot of kids found them out through 'Creep', which put them in the mainstream even though it's a kinda crappy song IMO. To someone who listens to 'Creep', really likes it, and then checks out their later stuff, Radiohead is probably the most cool and avant-garde thing that person has heard.

I lurk for about 20 minutes every day. Found the forums around 2007, posted in General for about 2 years, then I posted in the Art Forum for 1 year, and then started lurking around 2010. I'll probably never start posting again, but I do like watching you guys bicker about shit. Keep it up!

Yes.
Also: The head of this one. Although, you probably don't have a tenor. You can figure it out, though.
I've been on a Mahler binge for a while. Listening to his whole second symphony (90 minutes) and getting to the ending choral is otherworldly.

we dont know ... we cant even see that far
Really deep stuff. Gets you thinking.
It's not a matter of technology. The universe is 14 billion years old, so we can only see 14 billion light-years away. We can't see farther than that because light from anywhere farther still has to reach us.
At 6/2/12 03:47 PM, Suprememessage wrote: Space ends at a point but since it is constantly expanding at the speed of light we could never, ever, ever, find the end.
Since matter has weight some scientists predict that eventually space will become so large that gravity will make it collapse in on itself and suck everything back into the ball of matter it was before the big bang, you know, this could happen in a few billion years. or a few million, who knows.
Almost. Space is accelerating in it's expansion. It's not at a constant speed. Also, the more widely accepted theory is that the universe will just expand forever. From what we can see in the observable universe, the universe is constant in mass distribution (no center of the universe). There is also not enough mass for gravity to ever pull it back in . The universe will keep expanding and get so far apart that interstellar clouds will not be able to gain enough mass to make stars. Then all the already formed stars will run out of energy and die and the universe will be completely cold and lifeless. Fun

Sonic, just stick to those other guys in the car, they weren't funny, but they weren't loud and annoying.
I've been to Six Flags Over Texas a few times. It's pretty good. But Cedar Point is where it's at.

Quite honestly, I'm just unfamiliar with how the art portal works, and I don't feel like jacking with it. It looks pretty easy, though. I might put some stuff on today.

Not nearly as fun to draw...
And another. Slightly older this time. Once again, critique welcome.
Did a quick drawing today.

Thank you. Always good to be compared to Capn' Ben. Yeah, I kinda stole his whole lips thing in that one. Anyway, here's Patrick.
BTW If anyone has any tips on coloring? As you can see, coloring is not my forte. I find myself unable to put lively colors in lots of my drawings and I resort to just a base and a darker color or black. (Also, I'm colorblind, so picking the right colors is hell.) Any tips and criticisms are welcome with open arms.

Haven't been on Newgrounds in a long time. I like to think that I've gotten better since the last time I was on, and I've started drawing enough to make a thread.
Hope you guys like it!
If you tell yourself you suck at something, you will suck at it.
Hey, dude. I'm not 100% sure this is what you were asking for, but I think it may help.
As you know, the only way to get good at drawing is to practice, right? right. But one thing that I feel you could fix very quickly is your positioning. I did a quick sketch of your character, but I put a bit more thought into it, which is what I'm getting at.
I did this because I'm a very visual learner and it helps me describe much easier.
I first thought of the character. Well, he likes to pretend he's a super hero, so I thought I'd give him a smug hero pose. First I mapped him out in red, then in blue. Notice on the red/blue skeletons, I indicated that his head is facing up and toward his right. I did this by making the vertical line in the center of his head curved toward the right and the horizontal line in the center of his head up. Where the crosses meet give me a easy to work with center of his head. Even though it seems like extra work, it actually makes drawing these things a lot less stressful.
With his body, I have it facing up as well. I tried to get him to look like he's puffing out his chest with pride. Notice the legs are spread comfortably (nobody stands with their legs dead straight together). And his arms are on his hips, just like a superhero.
It's very sketchy, and the anatomy is nowhere near tight, but I was able to mask that a bit by giving him some life. He's not stiff and rigid. This is very important if you want to animate him, because nobody wants to watch a lifeless drawing. Give him some life to where he doesn't have to say anything and you can tell his character.
I don't know if I was being helpful or just a know-it-all dick, but there you go. :)
I envy your coloring.
and line art.
