Fuses should be along the wires. The wires go through fuses to prevent overcharges and power surges. They are in a box--the fusebox.

Don't leave your lights on to save your battery power.
Also, don't buy unreliable parts just to save a couple bucks.
A car is valuable, and you should want to do everything to keep it in the best condition.

As for your problem.. be more specific.
Do you hear the engine start and then die, or does nothing happen at all.
If you cant get a jump start from another car, then I think you might have burnt out a fuse or something.

In my opinion, dubbing anime (or any foreign show) just ruins it. It's easy enough to read subs, and usually, dubbed anime loses some of the humor somewhere along the translations.
