I've been looking for this movie for god knows how long, I saw it when I was around 6 or so and it basically scared me for life and I've always wanted to know what movie it was.

Basically there's a family that's being chased after for some reason and at one part they're at a shopping mall and this big burly guy is chasing them so to apprehend him they suffocate him with a plastic bag.

I swear to god I think Family guy mentioned it once.

Do you mean the networks or the shows because while it might be the network's choice it still kills the point of freedom of speech and undermines the original content the shows created.

Obviously there's reasonable boundaries but as it stands now the shows seem to be too censored.

So I was wondering why HBO wasn't subject to the FCC's regulations and recently found out that the FCC can't regulate cable.

I mean like any cable (payed subscription) network period, Cartoon Network, TNT whatever as far as the FCC is concerned they can all be airing shows like "Real Sex" at 4 pm.

Apparently the crazy censorship comes from the cable networks themselves and is a combination of the some stupid "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" psychology and advertisers who don't want to be critized for being shown on dogdy material.

TL;DR US cable networks suck cocks.
