COMPLETE edition of the interactive "choose next panel" comic
4.07 / 5.00 13,902 Viewssome doodles i did during this lame-ass standardized test i had to take
all done in pencil obviously.....rawr
Heres one of the canvases i had painted.
well i didn't paint the background, the painting was this really ugly non-objective painting that was donated to the organization that i take classes and intern at.
so i grabbed it and painted on it to make it better :)
you can't tell to well from the picture, but the guy looks really drippy, after painting on the blue i just got water and ran it over it so the color would run, it looks cool, to bad it doesn't really show
I guess i'm a big fan of your art.
Some pretty wicked ideas and art style, filled with abstract/surreal badassery,
...wish i could draw crazy wacked out characters
haha okay, thanks.
I'll probably post something up within the week if i'm not lazy
I must say, from someone who isn't really a fan of all the fantasy/war art, i do really like your stuff, you detail work is pretty damn good
and on your WIP, since it seems no ones really giving any good crit, i would make the sky a little more interesting, not just white and a little bit of gray. And i would do something to make the soldiers stand out a little more, don't keep them the same color as the ground. It made it kinda hard to tell what they were doing, i didn't even notice the guy they were carrying at first.
But other than that i think it looks pretty bad-ass, good stuff :)
Some really cool stuff in here, i work in pencils and colored pencils alot so i'll post something up in here when i do something new.
and SirSeraph, your a beast
oh, and it says Mediocer
lets me live up to the name
here's some lettering i was working on to, once again let me know what you think, i know i can use improvement
Nope, promise i wasn't stoned when i did that, I don't do drugs, i just have a really wierd imagination
by the by, been brushing up on the ol graff-eettee, think i found something that i like, been trying to come up with a decent hand-style and lettering.
tell me what you think
finally a art thread of show your stuff that worth it
I feel like theres a compliment somewhere mixed in with your horrible grammar
thanks :D
just finished coloring this mini comic book i'm doing, drew it out and dolled it up in illustrator, i'll post pics when i e-mail the files to myself
haha thanks, i've done one other self-portrait, that anyone who saw my self-portrait thread would've seen, i think this one is alot better, although it looks a little less like me.
and i agree with you about the hair, i am a little iffy about it, but kinda represents how my hair is right now (washed out blue/green, that sticks out everywhere) and i'm not to good at drawing hair, something i need to work on :-P
cool! glad to see some other non-digital artists on here other than me :D
I want to post something, but i don't really have any paintings or anything that arn't already in my thread, and whoring out the same pictures is retarded
but i really dig your style Deadspread, i think i like your almost comic book style ones with the border around the characters more than the cartoony portraits you kindof doing right now, but there still awesome nonetheless
and As-sol (soul? can't remember the name sorry don't be mad) I really love your graffiti like simple characters, probably one of the coolest things i've seen all day
eh, here's a self portrait i did today.
it sticks to my theme of self portraits that vaguely resemble what i actually look like.
not sure if i like it or not, what do you guys think?
thanks for the compliments, and i like to think i'm getting a little better at shading and such, just a smidge though
here's a watercolor i did for this "What does Jazz look like?" contest, i don't really listen to jazz at all, but i figured do something music themed and i have a chance, top 3 people get an iPod nano, and since my mp3 player broke 3 months ago, i've been without music :(
so i'm banking on this :-P
haha, haven't talked to you in awhile, or checked out any of your work.
once again i'm really digging your style, it's not really anime or chibi or anything like that, it's kinda it's own really smooth unique style, badass :)
wish i could draw on the computer, or draw attractive women, or anything thats attractive for that matter X)
but if i could i'd totally join in the fun
wow, your a pretty amazing artist! i'm envious of your shading and detail, don't think i could do that.
but you would make a sick tattoo artist, and you mentioned doing graffiti, do you have any pieces done, or is it just an idea you had?
cool, over a thousand views, closing in on a hundred replies, thats fun
sorry guys, i'm horrible at updating this thing, here's a piece i painted while waiting for paint to dry on another canvas i'm working on,
and just an update, i finished the munny, it's being submitted to this show now, along with 6 other new pieces of mine, so when i get them back i'll post up pictures of them
plus i'm geeked for this weekend, might be helping my friend Jamie spray a mural for a local museum, Jamie was a big graffiti artist who tagged SERG, he practically made graffiti big in pittsburgh, so i'm a little excited
I really like you art, the like really mold and smooth style you use has always appealed to me, could never quite pull it off myself, but i really like it, think rainbow blood is my favorite
but i really like you stuff, can't wait to see more :)
hahaha the first time i've seen fucking Xena in like 5 years or something is her getting raped by a clown, pox you kick ass
wow, your facial anatomy and wrinkles and such is amazing, i'm completely and totally jealous, wish i could get that level of accuracy in any of my work, pretty kick-ass
wow i thnk thats pretty badass, i really like your art, good style and quality to it.
any plans for maybe a background? (not that it needs it, i almost never make backgrounds for anything)

haha yeah i haven't posted anything in awhile, if i'm lucky i'll have my munny done by thursday, so i can submit it to this art show

i like ur stuff man its wonderfully grotesque.
what impressed me most is ur clay munny though, have u taken any lessons?
nope, well i've taken classes and such, but not like focused classes, mostly public school art class
only really focused classes i've taken is in screen printing, drawing, and fashion design
but in the area of sculptor i've never had any formal training or anything like that, this is the first time i've really done any sculpting in this style

good job
but the crappy eye thing is very surprising. were ur eyes closed and hands tied when u drew this?
Look at whose posts? Vousielles?
It is in my full knowledge that he (or she not sure) can draw better than that, i have lots of respect for Vous as an artist, i'm a fan
and i just looked at your thread, landscapes arn't my thing but coming from someone who has had to paint landscapes, i think they're damn good

html<\a> I think you're trying to show sagginess, but they should still line up with the armpits. Also, the shoulder muscles are too big. Hope this helps a bit, though if it were my pic, i'd probably be too lazy to fix it. Maybe you could do it when you change the paint color... ;)
Probably won't fix the color because i've moved on to other projects and just won't get around to it, and on the anatomy, don't remember what i was going for at the time
but by looking at it i think it partly might've been sagginess, and partly me being stupid and making his collar bones to big
but the anatomys all over the plac on that one, if you notice his belly button is somewhere below his hips :-P he has all sorts of problems
I like your art style, do you have your own thread?
saw your stuff on the Tag Da Bus thread, wouldn't mind seeing another character from you
At 4/6/08 02:03 PM, Vousielle wrote: Sure its shit but it gets the idea across right?
No, Vousielle your lack of skills has doomed him to draw shitty eyes for the rest of his life!
good job
your anatomy is a little shotty, but i really like the textures you get in your works
just clicked on your thread because i've seen your name thrown around so i decided to look, and it's cool how much you've progressed, just in quality wise and how your starting to develop your own style away from anime, cool stuff
saw this thread and thought it was funny, drew this a while ago and it fits
last one for now i swear, got a canvas and stencil sitting at work, i'll get pictures when i can
