Has anyone else read the graphic novel Black Hole by Charles Burns? I recently found out that there's a live action movie in the works for it. I'm interested in it because it's one of my favorite books, but I honestly can't see if translating into a live action film at all. Let alone a film that would be allowed to be shown in general theaters.

For those who haven't read Black Hole, it's revolves around this STD called "the bug" that only effects teenagers. "The Bug" causes slight to severe mutations, such as an extra arm, third eye, or just rashes. The bananas trippy artwork and overt sexual nature of the book really leaves me skeptical about if it can really be turned into a good Hollywood movie.

So have any of you guys read this? What do you think?

Just saw this really awesome animation, figured it was a good excuse to bump this thread.

It's short animation about this guy who gets hit by a meteorite and is then 91 cm from his actual self. It's really cool and a great idea. Check it out.

Don't have long conversation's between just you and someone else, just keep it in your PM or just be sensible and get on AIM or MSN.

Fairly certain I mentioned it's not something I do a lot, just something I enjoy doing when I'm bored. All I was doing was making the color pop a more to make the photo stand out, didn't feel like getting my tablet out to do any alterations. The kid obviously doesn't mind the dust on his cats face, who cares.

Sorry for trying to contribute and getting your panties all up in a bunch.

I don't think so, it blends in with the rest of the laptop. At a glance it's not very noticeable, like it doesn't even have a touchpad. I also find the "two finger click" to right click is easier/more comfortable than right click with a mouse.

it also sounds dirty which is always a plus.

Yeah, not a fan of most PC touchpads, but I really like the one on my mac book pro. It's just one big touchpad, and the bottom half presses down as the button.

Can't figure out how to just post a link of it here, but I'm going to be painting my Raffi live on Stickam for awhile. Pretty sure you can find it just by going to my profile on stickam (captainben). Somewhere should mention something about me being "live".

Bull. I've been rather successfully playing FPS's with the touchpad on my macbook for over a year now. I actually find it easier and more comfortable to play them now with a touchpad rather than with a mouse. It's all about what you're used to using.

Pieces are not bad but not great, quality isn't very good. You won't be able to be scouted until you have a minimum of 4 pieces. If you have any further questions about the Art Portal read the Official Art Portal Q&A Thread first, if you don't see an answer to your question somewhere in there that's the place to ask.

Just because their old doesn't mean they can' be revived. The NG Graffiti and Tagging thread still can serve it's purpose, no need to remake it. If you want to just have a thread showcasing your own work you're more than welcome to make a thread for your own stuff.

I did assume you were a COD fan, I just also assumed you had a sense of humor. I don't see how whether or not you are a fan of COD has any effect on my reasons for why you might like MAG or not.

And MW2 matches are sometimes descbribed the way you said it.

I promise you, that you will never play a round of COD that even compares to MAG as far as squad tactics goes.

It's kind of hard to describe why I think MAG is better than MW2 (bear in mind I am also a COD fan, not fanboying over MAG). The reality is that MAG isn't for everyone, it seems like a pretty much a "love it or hate it" sort of thing. The only real way to see if you would be into MAG or MW2 is to just play both and see for yourself.

MW2 = mindlessly killing everything you see
MAG = Emphasis on squad tactics and objective based combat while mindlessly killing everything you see.

If you're into squad shenanigans, MAG is the way to go. If you just want to run around killing things, just keep MW2.
