I think it's a matter of what else you have going on in the piece that you're using a brush as a sticker in. I know I've used texture brushes and splatter brushes before as stickers to add an effect to something that I drew myself. I think using custom brushes as stickers can be okay, as long as it's in junction with something that you've made yourself. Not just other custom brushes.

I think it would be fine if it just didn't have the fonts, if you want to add onto to then go for it.

No
Yeah, I've been wicked busy with school, I should have mine done and sent out before Friday though.
I personally find myself missing my old Super Nintendo everyday, awesome collection of games.

sure, it can be boring if you want.
Figure at the very least I could post a wip since I told Nae I'd get one of these done by now, but laziness got the better of me.
I don't really have much, just a pretty rough idea I want to do.
Poop

I disagree, no matter how you place it and no matter what font you use it's not going to sit right with the hand drawn characters. The theme of this is that it's supposed to be like you drew it on notebook paper, fonts don't really play into that too well. I personally think it will be fine without the text, but if you're really hellbent on pointing out the obvious (seriously i think everyone here knows who spiderman and scorpion are) then go back into it and draw the lettering yourself.

I've always been a really big fan of Ico's storyline, one of the few games whose ending actually got me all choked up.

Yes, approved.
I really dig the varying opacity and such, which is what we're looking for.
ZeroTerraBladeOmega: One of the things we're emphasizing with the collab this year is good quality. It looks like you're drawing this with the line tool in MSpaint. I'm going to go ahead and say that MSpaint is a no no. There are plenty of free drawing programs that you could use other than paint that will look much nicer.
SmokeryDots: Ha ha looks great, accepted. Can you give us a new "fun fact" for that piece?
Flea, I think you are by far one of the most serious people in the art forum.

Is that one airing on TV? That's brilliant.
This is probably the most the art forum kids have posted somewhere that ISN'T the art forum.

WIP!
Get rid of the filter raped photography and actually draw something.
I still haven't gotten around to finding a copy of Fallout 1 to play, but I got a copy of Fallout 2 from a friend of mine forever ago.

If you didn't expect it to pass than you shouldn't have submitted it yet. It doesn't look that bad, but it looks like preliminary sketches to an actual piece. Try cleaning it up some more, build off from it, and maybe add a little color.

It won't melt, but it will get really soft and feel like playdo. Just have to be careful to make sure it doesn't lose it's shape.

I also recommend that documentary for anyone who doesn't firmly understand how fucked up the MPAA's rating board is. They're the reason why good movies aren't released.
