You came in your pants watching a movie filled with greased up, muscular men... That speaks volumes.

If we do, that's half the movie because according to outside reports the transformers themselves have a grand total of like 15 lines of dialogue. Combined.

I cannot condense my rage. Suffice it to say, this movie will be to transformers what the Masters of the Universe movie was to HeMan. Mark my words, all the pretty special effects in the world aren't going to gloss over the fact it's just another Bay clusterfuck, where explosions are considered plot points.

And Welker isn't Megatron, Hugo Weaving (Elrond/Agent Smith) is. If Welker's in it, it's probably only in his capacity to do snarly, animalistic voices (possibly for Frenzy or Scorponok). I was happy when I heard Cullen would be Prime (thrilled, even) but now that I see what a shitfest it will be, I really wish he wasn't in it...

Response to: Transformers Movie (2007) Posted April 6th, 2007 in General

Michael Bay is a fucking tool. This movie shits all over transformers in every way possible. I have no doubt people will love it though because people, by and large, are morons.

Response to: Gun Control? Posted April 3rd, 2007 in General

I will say only this: If you own a car, you are required by law to register, liscense and insure the vehicle, an object designed as a means of transport that could kill people if it is misused. To expect less of firearms, which are designed for the express purpose of killing is not only unrealistic, it is genuinely dangerous. Societies where gun ownership is limited in this fashion generally enjoy lower gun-crime rates and indeed lower crime rates overall.

Response to: The "gay phase" Posted March 30th, 2007 in General

It's a waste of time trying to generalize shit like this. Each of us has a unique biochemistry, upbringing and environment that will dictate whether or not you go through an uncertain phase in your sexuality. Some will, some won't, there's no rhyme or reason. Not like being a teenager isn't a psychological mine field anyway. If you haven't figured your shit out by college, then maybe you should be a little concerned.

Don't feel obligated to do things though. If you have "gay thoughts" and find them disturbing then odds are you're not gay, so don't do anything stupid. Contrary to what society's "try anything" spin tells you, you have instincts for a reason. Trust them.

Were you asleep during the recent O'Hare incident? Massive craft sighted by multiple witnesses, many of them pilots (people whose jobs require they have both good eyesight and a familiarity with aircraft), over a major metropolitan airport. First denial and then casual dismissal by the FAA. Multiple photographs of said sighting, rigorously analyzed.
