It is a silly comedy/sci-fi cartoon about a neanderthal in the search for worms. It is just under 3 min. Anybody interested and I could send a couple scenes. Could be a fun project but not sure how to find someone so if anyone has any suggestions would also be great, thanks.

Make one audio file (maybe 1 per scene, not sure how scenes work). If you have multiple audio files added to Flash's timeline, they will start to lag and unsync with the video.
Thanks for the advice, that sounds like it would be the best for multiple scenes.
What is the best way to add audio to cartoon. Do you add single audio files in flash or make one file in an audio program? I have garage band and try to sync it but it gets confusing after the second scene as there is 22 scenes. I also tried to export it to quicktime but my computer cannot export cleanly and it lags so that is another problem. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

It seems like a lot of work to copy frames, thats a ton of frames to paste and I could see it getting confusing with 20 scenes. Couldn't I get a swf to mov. converter and give him the mov. file and then he could give me the audio track and I could insert it in flash and have my cartoon in swf form and quicktime? Thanks for the help, just wish this was smooth and I would have my cartoon done .Did you try exporting to a low quality version? If you're just going to put the audio back into flash then it doesn't need to be too high of a quality.
I tried at a low quality and it still lagged. My computer should be able to handle the export so will look into that and maybe the converter.
Thanks

I believe new versions of After Effects or Premiere let you copy and paste frames from flash into them, allowing for a smooth export. Try downloading the free trial and see if you can paste from flash CS3 into them?

I'm using Flash CS3 and it is a 3 min cartoon and would be easier if I could just send him the swf. but he couldn't open itWhy can't he just add the audio in flash?
also I think ng are working on making it possible to upload alternative video formats
I tried sending him the swf but his audio program doesn't support swf. files. I wanted to be able to post the cartoon to other sites, that is why I wanted him to do it in quicktime, avi format as most sites accept that.

PS. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what is your solution to finishing a cartoon?
