I've been trying to gain weight.

I gotta eat more calories in a day... but that's hard to do because I'm usually stuffed on half a Whopper. I figure if I eat faster, I'll be able to eat more.

Even if I don't want to eat more, it'll probably be easier to force myself to do so if I can get it over in just a few minutes. As opposed to now, where it takes me 15-20 minutes to barely eat an entire burger.

I kept trying... it's working fine now. I wonder what the problem was?

My brother is gay... my mom didn't take it very well.

When I was in high school I use to come home to my brother in tears, with his head in his hands, while my mom screamed and yelled at him. I'd go upstairs and turn my music up really loud and try to play whatever came on the radio on my guitar... but it never went loud enough. I can still hear her shouting "I hate you, I fucking hate you"...

It eventually stoped when my brother started lying about his sexuality.

I haven't really thought about any of that until now. :(

Topic: Gaining Weight

Posted: 10/16/09 03:23 PM

Forum: General

I'm 5'9, in my 20s, and I only weight 120 pounds (fully dressed). So, I've decided to gain weight.

It's harder then you would think... for skinny people that don't eat much, trying to eat more must be the same thing as people who love to eat trying to go without food. Possibly worse.

Anybody ever tried to gain weight on purpose? It sucks.. I can barely stand to finish the Whopper I'm eating now and I have to finish another one just for lunch. After that, I still need 1,000 more calories. I feel like I'm going to explode and shit myself at the same time... which is a secret fantasy of mine so I guess it's not all bad.

Topic: "Musicians" are quite a whiny bunch

Posted: 10/12/09 06:46 PM

Forum: Video Games

It doesn't bother me that people play rock band... but as a musician I get the rage.

Playing an instrument takes dedication. People work hard and spend a lot of time to get good at their choosen craft.

Something about it just seems wrong when a 9 year old at KMart picks up a plastic Les Paul and plays a Van Halen solo with only 3 or 4 minutes of practice....

Then, having to hear about it all the time, makes it worse. Plus, it's almost an insult... as if my art form of playing the guitar is little more then a childs toy.

I know that's not how it is... so I don't let it bother me, but I could see how some people could get upset. It's always thrown in your face... it does get old quick.

Topic: Starcraft v. Warcraft

Posted: 10/12/09 06:12 PM

Forum: Video Games

Starcraft was just better, IMO.

Short answer, unit limit. I could have a mass army of 200 units in Starcraft. Warcraft pooped out at like 80 or some stupidly low number... and most units took up 2 or 3 spots.

When Warcraft 3 came out, it became all about the hero class... which was cool, but not really what I was looking for in an RTS game. If I wanted to level a character, I'd play an RPG.

Starcraft was just simple... and massive... and bloody.

Mix that in with sweet graphics, quick gameplay, and a wonderful map editor allowing tons of Use Map Settings Games, and you have the best RTS there is. Until it's sequal is finally released.

I wish you poor people would stop making me feel bad about being rich.

Everytime I try to enjoy the mass piles of money I have I always have to listen to some poor degenerate cry because they can't aforde to go shopping at the same stores as me.

I really wish poor people would realize that there may be a rich person standing nearby before they open their mouth and start talking about all the money they don't have.

I blame the parents.

I regret my own ignorance... not knowing the line between being myself and understanding how others will view me based on first impressions and the like. My lack of real world understanding and living under the impression that I'm still young when I should have agknowledged that although I am young, I'm no longer a child either. My over abundance of pride and inability to realize that although I disagree, maybe this douche-bag asshole sitting next to me knows something I don't.

Topic: Weird dreams lately?

Posted: 10/08/09 03:29 PM

Forum: General

I was driving in a car with some friends. There was a military fighter jet in the air (which is common since I live near a navy base)... it was flying low like it was about to land but something was wrong. It teetered back and forth a bit and suddenly it boucned it's right wing off the side of the building. Strangly, the building nor the jet took any damage... it just bounced off and messed up the jets flight path.

The pilot tried to correct the error by pulling up but ended up flying up into the air and then nose diving into a dome shaped stadium... exploding upon impact.

The whole time this happens we're in the car, driving really close behind the plane. We don't know what to do... we're afraide if we stop the plane will crash on top of us.. but we're afraid that if we keep going we'll fly right into the crash.

After the plane crashes into the stadium we all kind of freak out. It's terrible... we think people where in the stadium... but we're also kind of excited like "holy shit, I can't believe I just saw that".

Like most dreams, it's gets blurry and suddenly I'm talking to a girl that I've never met somewhere else. The plane accident is in my head, but nobody seems to care about it anymore.

Me and her get on this little golf-cart train thing (like one you would find at an amusement park to take you through the parking lot) and suddenly we decide to go to her house. The car flys up into the air and we go to this huge tree in the sky where her family lives. It turns out they're magical elf people who can control the weather. She shows me the spell book... but it's not magic, it's like 'the force' in Star Wars. There's a scientific explination on how they do it, but only they can control the elements to make it happen. So the spell book is more like an instruction guide, but I don't understand it.

They play with the weather for a bit and then I wake up.

Strange thing is, I've had this dream before.... years and years ago. It's only the 2nd time I've ever had it, but I did have it once before.

It's always, 'you either believe everything in the bible, or you disown God all-together'.

There are other choices...
