Go with Apache. Or if you're a huge Microsoft fan you can run IIS in NT.

i have apache and have been messing around with it. but i keep getting the same error message when i run a php script that uses the POST method... do i need to configure apache, php, or both...

mySQL is an open-source project, fool.

FreeSQL.org will host a mySQL database for you. so you don't need to download mySQL.

it is just in my mainly file storage site...
just so you don't think the code is for angelfire, angelfire sucks when it comes to CGI, PHP, etc.

Incorrect - as with all pre-written scripts, if you don't understand the syntax, you won't know what to correct when it goes wrong. Try looking at this tutorial for the very basics. There's a feature on the PHP site (which you can easily find by doing a quick search - "file upload" should do it).
