Why do people support it? Its a barbaric act that makes no sense because you are pretty much guaranteed to lose sensitivity, it looks bad most of the time, and its commonly done too tight. It also doesnt provide any medical benefits at all which has been shown many times by different research, while theres only one that shows it does which is a self reported survery (aka shit). It can also commonly leads to erectile dysfunction and is hard to reverse, which is unfair against the babies who have had it done without their permission.

The only reason it still happens a lot in America is because the hospitals want more money and so practically force people to do it and because Americans are ignorant about the subject (as per usual).
