if i was saddam, the last place i would be is in my palace. i would be in a bongalow, lying low, about 100 mioes from baghdad
people have got longer than that here in England @ airports for saying they have bombs. i think one got 18 months, but he only served 15 of them

And you can sharpen those stickes and make spears, and then you can make bow and shoot the spear thats a bow and arrow, and then they can use rocks to make arrow heads, but they find the minearls to make gun powder instead and they use that to make guns, and then they make bigger guns, then while trying to make an even bigger gun they make nukes. Great now Iraq has Nukes now arn't you worried for your troops you heartless bastard.
well, while they're sharpening those sticks, we've shot them and they dont have nukes.
its hard to feel sorry for people who kill for a living.

It is war.
you can't sign up for the army and complain when they post you out to fight a war.
im fed up with people saying Britain should all band together and think of the soldiors who are in Iraq now. they say some of them don't want to be there and that they dont agree with the war and that they're risking teir lives.
firstly, soldiors know they will get sent into war and that they cant complain about it when the time comes, and if it comes. secondly, they aren't risking their lives particularly, they're armed to the teeth against what looks to be some men armed with nothing more high-tech than sticks (the Iraqis)
personally, i think that anyone who signs up for a job that involves killing people you have never met before needs their head checked.
loser. nobody owns the forum
ill believe he's dead when i see the body. i dont trust my own government any more
Stupid White Men by Michael Moore
more of a left-wing book, that one
in america some stores (big markets, not little child porn things) are selling thongs for 5 year-olds saying 'eat me' on the front
kinder-whores indeed
i think you have to judge the time for yourself, there should be no set age
it wont last that long but the diplomatic repercussions are going to go on for decades
to be honest i couldn't care less if the whole US and UK military got killed tomorrow. anyone who signs up for a job that involves shooting people has got to have his or her head checked, in my opinion.
i think it is a pity the american news is censored so heavily. you aren't told what is happening because your government keep it from you. unfortunately, while many british people know WHY osama attacked the US (and i would have done so if in his position) a lot of americans don't, purely because they aren't told the full story.
i think we will see an increase in wartime rascism, but it saddes me that i believe that
michael moore wrote 'Stupid White Men' which is a brilliant book. read if if you haven't already
i think america will see another 9/11 catastrophe. it may not be on the scale of 9/11 but enough people hate america to want to do that. you have to remember, binladen is still alive, and even if hes not, al-quieda still has his money.
america (and now the UK as well) needs to go out being nice to people, not bombing them. the US is shooting itself in the foot.

Could they beat all 170+ countries if they all turned against them? Or even the 100+ who dont support them?
The only country which would even make for a vaguely entertaining war is China,
A 'vaguely entertaining' yo're an idiot.
Where are the French "friends in high places" which make they so much stronger than the US?
In Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and North and South America. (Minus the yanks of course)
1. President George W. Bush of the United States of America.
2. Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar of Spain
3. Prime Minister Anthony C. L. Blair of the United Kingdom.
If i was Saddam what i would do is this...
Send in a load of people with supplies of anthrax hidden in their pockets. It doesn't smell and will be deadly.
Send in a load more suicide bombers, a lot of people hate America.
Or I would do this...
Get a Nuclear Warhead (just the warhead) and put it in a van. To let you know, a warhead (and only the warhead) will fit in the boot of the car and isn't very heavy. A man could pick it up without straining himself too much. Then i would put that in the back of a 60' articulated lorry. I would cover the rest of the lorry with things like cat food, or flour sacks.
Then, nobody would find it at customs (especially if the lorry said 'Tesco' on the side or something. I would drive it to the middle of New York. Then i would detonate it.
At EXACTLY the same time. I would detonate similar lorries in Washington DC and about 10 major cities.
Brilliant isn't it?
france dont need a huge army, and they are stronger than the yanks because they have friends in high places, they also KEEP their friends by notbeing hypocrites.
the yanks think they're hard, but sometime thye're going to fall. dont give me that 'no-one can beat us because we're super powerful' shit. every empire that has fallen has been armed to the teeth
you can't go and nuke iraq because then every single country in the world would then cut off all sales with you. you would collapse into an economy and fall into the metaphorical void

you absolute shit. millions of people die and the only thing you can think is 'screw them' try seeing some kids crying because their father just dies and they have no-one left for them.
its people like you that cause the world as it is

Wow. Bush Senior and Saddam were buddies. He helped Saddam into power, so they must be pretty close.
its not healthier, being a vegetarian. you lose protein from red meat.
true, you can get that from other vegetables but red met gives more of it
wow! a mystery virus. i thought id post this cos im bored of war and fancied to move on to some other kind of death.
nope. no way. some of the iraqui people love him, don'cha know?

if there have been pro-war protests i wouldn't have heard of them, and besides, don't you think that the government (especially here in britain, they're under terrible fire) would have told us about them in order to boost support?
also why does the dixie chicks get so much backlash from fans when they say one comment about george bush and his whole war while eminem gets little fan (not media or parental watchdog group) backlash (i'm sure its because he already has a bad boy image so its no big deal) when he sings songs about how america sucks and the bush administration is fucked up (not that i have a problem with eminem, he's pretty decent).
This war has already been lost. I do not mean militarily, but diplomatically. The world knows that America could win the fight in under 24 hours, their military far outnumbers and outpowers the Iraqui military.
The way they have lost is that most of the world has turned against them. Not openly, and not majorly, but the other countries of the world are slowly turning against the way they act.
The fact that they will ignore the France veto (although it doesn't look as if they will give them the chance to even use it) will mean that other countries will start ignoring their vetos.
Do people think I'm right? Or am I missing things here?

It's not. They can do it by themselves, no problem, but this war has made a lt of the world anti-american. Wheather this is fair or unfair this is the way things are on our side of the pond.
The Americans have alreay lost this war, diplomatically.

yes, you're right. it also has a problem that the US just veto any suggestion that involves Isreal being made to look bad
everyone has made some good points on this board, nut what anti-abortion people aren't thinking about is accidents.
what if the condom split?
what if she takes the pill late?
what if...?
these are only two examples, but what if they did happen.
say a woman meets a man at a bar, gets to know him a bit and has a one-night stand. she never sees him again, and he never sees her. they both live happy lives and die happy
but if the condom they were using broke... what would she do then? would she have to live with a child that she didn't want?
or lets say it is the mans fault, what if he didn't put it on right?
the possibilities are endless.
in my mind, abortion is morally right. it is just as 'wrong' as using a condom or the morning-after pill if you want to think of it as that.
