The reason for going to Iraq changed over time. When looked like there were no WMD, Bush simply said it was because Saddam was a Dictator.

He has alienated the world: les frenchies hate us, der Germans have a cold attitude to us,

Along with every single other country in Europe.

Bullying comes from kids who have no lives at all and they can do nothing good so they punish good people for that. The victim shouldn't be forced to learn Karate to protect himself, because the school law, which is full of red tape should protect the victim, but it probably won't protect the victim at all.

Is there school law? The law can't protect people, it only allowsd us to punish misdeeds.

This looks like it came from Japan, and I have no idea what the laws are like there. I would want to have those kids suspended indefinately, be taught some morality and sent somewhere else.

I'd like them sent down. This is nothing more than assault.

They look like preps too.

What is a prep?

Because the people want it. Society wants marriage.

that's why i would expect the marriage to be a part of the adoption process and to be auomatically annulled in the event of their giving up the child.

Anullment would be hard. Marriages can't be annulled unless the two people haven't had sex.

There is benefit. People WANT to get married, it maked them happier and allows for easier benfits, and joint housing accouts etc.

couples who exprerssed a wish not to get married is a difficult area, they could have no intention of having kids, but publicly pretend they do so that they can reap the benefits of married life. while they should not be able to marry in principle, actually stopping them would be very difficult.

Would it not be possible for a gay couple to marry, sying they intended to adopt or foster, and then 'change their mind'?

How do you mean? America is Democratic [almost] in that everyone can vote from two parties. Sure, they're Republicans and Republicans-Lite, but that isn't the point.

Stop using that dumb 1.7 trillion dollar number. Britains going to spend the same, albiet it will take them 10x as long =P

I wonder over how many years they're going to spend it. Well, it'sll be over 4 years, at the rate they're going.

He is. Every president since Reagan has funded the NMD (national missile defense), they always change the name though, because it always becomes unpopular quickly. Perhaps because it is worthless and and wont work. Even Clinton was funding it, although not nearly as much as Dubya. They are already building the first facilities for it. The plan is for it to be semi-operational in ten years.

What is it actually going to do?

Nah, let's just get everyone posting shit and opinions and whatnot here.

I can't find it anyway, but that's not the point. It's Ironic that America, the "Land of the Free" has less freedoms than ANY country with a fully-Democratically Elected Government.

Slowly and slowly they become more facist. It's also worth noting that Facist countries spend fuckloads on their military. America spent close to $400bn last year, and there are plans for 1.7trillion to be spent over the next few years. George Bush wants/wanted to build a "Star Wars" defence system. I can't remember if this is actually going to go ahead, I think it isn't, but it does kinda show how Bush compares.

Just to say, the bomb dropped on Hiroshima was ~ 13Kilotons. The most powerful bomb ever tested was 58 megatons, almost 6,000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima killed about 140,000. You do the math.

This site allows you to download 4 .avi movies. They're actually slightly shocking. Either way, this is blatant bullying. What should happen to these kids. I'm all of favour of a custodial sentance. They know full well what they're doing, and they're just comitting aggrevated assault. We lock people up for that, because they're a danger to society.

Just because SOME jews were in a crows thousands of years ago, doesn't mean they derserve that 'punishment'.
