get a horse, a horse would be a good call.
do you already have everything planned out, or does the artist need to make up the story and all that?

If you want it as a sound clip I would recommend downloading a program like "Audacity".
Just set the record function to "stereo mix" and it will record sounds your computer makes.
or you can open your temporary internet files> drag and drop the .swf file into audacity, and vuala there's your sound.
uploaded it for you because i can http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/2808/165 78_clockgeek.mp3
the no gore rule is probably there just to make people create something more creative and interesting than the usual slow mo killing sprees you see all the time

you can't tell what the title of the game is until you click on it,
is the title important?
and its prolly your site you want more visitors to.

lol you saying i made all those games? holy shit
i just found this site full of unique games http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/
it's all really different from the stuff you play here on newgrounds.
would it be illegal to make a profit off of a chess game? the pieces would be original characters but the gameplay is the same. i don't know how the copyright on that stuff works

I get this huge goofy smile across my face when I hear the music from a game I loved as a kid.
But I don't get the same feeling actually playing the games.
Weird.
i still have that game!! damn that was sooo many years ago, back when ps1 was this big box. i even have the croc soundtrack now, because the game got scratched and won't go past the first level anymore

draw a quick sketch of what you want so people understand what you're talking about
shouldn't mspaint work?
do you write any original music or just video game remixes?
you mean the scenery in japan?
so overall i should convert the backgrounds to jpeg or something and import it in flash?
this is a zelda style game, and i'm not sure if it would lag when the map scrolls around as a vector. in the picture, the red box with the character in the middle is the screen, and the red outline is the background that will be scrolling around when you walk, when you hit the edge of the screen you'll be in a new map
don't forget about shape hints
about how many backgrounds do you need?
i can't wait to play it. halloween ftw
aw man unless i can hook my keyboard up to these programs i doubt i'll ever be able to understand them.
can someone direct me to a royalty free 8-bit music site, or some 8-bit composers? the newgrounds audio search isn't bringing up anything, neither is google
