The problem is it wouldn't know what colors it's made up of, just the shade.

sorry to double post but that's a much easier explaination than mine

Response to: B&W to Color Posted May 5th, 2004 in General

well, if you open a color picker chart (the box with the color slider is the best way i can describe it), white is in the top left and black is in the bottom left (and right). inbetween is grey for every column from #FFFFFF to #000000

you can determine the brightness of the shades of grey that a movie has by using an eyedropper tool, but it can't translate because when you slide down to red, blue, yellow etc, the grey is ALWAYS the same. you can't determine what color something was filmed as. the colors change from the top right to the middle-area, but when colors are turned to greyscale, they all look the same because they're all the same brightness.

i'm no color expert but that's how it works

i called my friend (girl) and her boyfriend picked up, so he said "hold on a minute". so after a blank pause she starts talking, and i guess he was on another phone evesdropping. i hear a click, then he snatches the phone from her and yells "if you ever talk to my girlfriend again i'll fucking kill you!" and hangs up

i don't know about you, but i find it amusing
hmm i wonder what i should say to him tomorrow....any snappy remarks or ideas on that?

It doesn't zoom in and out, it changes the font size.

this isnt the coolest trick but i found this out a few days ago
when you're surfing a webpage (this works best on ones with more text than images, try http://www.darklyrics.com), hold CTRL down on the keyboard while scrolling up/down with your scroll wheel
it zooms in and out of the page, pretty fun

i saw a thing on tv (a few times) about a company in japan called shindogu or something, "the useless invention society"

they make all this useless garbage but it's funny. they had this cage around a car and they drove around with wet laundry clipped on it, it looked like a parade float

That could be argued... but logically a person wouldn't be born believing there's no god 'cause they wouldn't be able to grasp the concept of belief yet.

yeah you're right, i was trying to impose that religion is more or less a lifestyle that is developed through growth. if you raised a baby not telling it about religion at all, ultimately nothing is lost.
though that's just my stance, i don't find religion worthwhile

though i don't want to debate this stuff, but i agree

you're born an atheist. wether or not you buy into religion depends on your personality

some would say i'm an atheist, but a lot of those people tend to prove everything with science, i don't really care about proving anything to be honest

well, if you're that serious about it, then you have to get some professional help. maybe a pamphlet or program to stop smoking would help. it wont work if she doesn't want to

i have friends that smoke, i wish they wouldnt, but whatever works for them...

sure, i'll make a sig for somebody if they want one (not to say i'm amazing at it but it'd be fun to try)
if anyone wants one, give me some details and i'll have it done in a day or so

yep, it's done in maya (though they might as well use cinema 4d, the graphics are horrible)
some shows on Teletoon appear to be done in flash, but i can't be certain. YTV has a lot of commercials done in flash too (kid channel in canada)
