If the war ended, Bush n them go to prison n stuff for war crimes, all the corrupt politicians, all the corporate media bastards, all the people hurting and killing us every day all gone, I'd say America would be the promise land that the immagrants who first came here saw it as.

But no I suppose it wont happen, there will always be somthing fucked up in the system where people corrupt and do crimes in order to better themselves in other's expense, but I believe as long as there are people who want to get rid of all that, do good for the sake of good, evil will never prevail.

Thank you.

Thanks for a good post. However, I'm going to have to diasagree. Fear is what drives everything. Animals fear predators, again, etc. It's this mental state, for some reason, that allows us to survive.

Look at it this way. Say you live in the middle of nowhere, isolated for society. Suddenly, and car accident happens while you driving. Boom. You're fine, the other guy's fine, but are you really? No. You will live in the fear that something like that may happen again. It's the nervousness that awakens your survival instinct.
Day later. A car cuts in front of you at high speeds. You however, since being shaken up by the previous day's accident, quickly swerve and misses the would be totaled car. Had you not had the accident the day before, you would have been dead. It was the fear that lead you to survive.
We need fear. Had Darwin been a psychologist perhaps he could interpret that fear could of been another reason for the survival of the fittess.
Fear is what drives us. It makes us do things we wouldn't normally do. Fear is the reason we live.

State of Fear Posted April 26th, 2008 in Politics

Quick note, I'm not a crazy ass with a computer and a mind full of crap. (Okay, maybe some crap, but that's another topic) Nor am I a guy with crazy theories. This is just something I read, which, while interesting, also made sense. So please, no bashing, just explain your thoughts on the topic. And yes, this is not about Michael Crichton's novel, rather an idea in it.

We live in what is known as a State of Fear. This is not an understatement, for we live in fear everyday. We may not think of it, yet we live in it.

Brief overview. Throughout human history there has not, I repeat, has not have a time of peace. There are times close, but never ever any peace time. (you can interpret this in any religon) People have always lived in some sort of fear. Fear of starvation, fear of war, fear of government, etc. Fear of death or failure, basically.
The topics that induce the people change over the years. Take the years 1900s to 2000s. (i'm doing America because I live there, hell, you can put in any major event and you will have some sort of fear in it.) Early 1900s, the issue of race, 1910- 1920s, WWI. 1930s-1940s, Great depression. 1940s- 1950s, WWII. 1960s-1970s, Vietnam War. 1960s-1990s, Cold War, 1990s-today, Global warming. All of these have fear in them for the majority of the population.
This fear makes us live in uncomfortable conditions. Humans can not live without fear. Take away fear, we can not function. We cannot get the edge to survive.
This State of Fear is the reason we are alive today. (If you don't think world events don't affect you, think of personal fears, which count too.
So what do you think of the stae of fear.

Politically correct is wrong. Posted April 21st, 2008 in Politics

This is only an opinion. If you disagree, congratulations. You may have a mind. But please, don't be like, "You fucking suck with your opinions and crap" People do have their opinions, and it's their thoughts. So please, if you disagree, please help me by explaining why in a decent manner.

This is an understatement. What I mean to say is that being politically correct is wrong in the world today, right now, as I'm writing this. It's these ideas that tell us how to think, how to act, how to speak, how to live. If you ever saw The Matrix, this is sort of like it, except it is real. and I will explain it now.

Have you ever wondered why now Caucasians no longer say the N-Word? They are trying to be correct and call everyone the right name. Yet despite this, African Americains (Now I'm not generalizing, I have a African friends too who agree with me on this) call themselves the N-word to each other. Fine, that's great with me. The guys took a horrible insult and turned into an everyday slang word. Great. Yet in today's politics, if a white (or any other person for that matter) says the N-word, they are instantly shuned and marked a "racist".
Wait a second here. Okay, black people call each other this and are fine with it. But when anyone else says it, it is considered a sin, and all hell breaks loose. What the fuck? People are calling each other what they want to be called by. If I wanted to be called, I don't know, say asshole, by people, and others thought it was a bad thing, why is it wrong? I'm being called by what I want to be called. Yet in today's society this is considered "wrong".
Recently several Gay and Lesbian groups have now been calling them selves queers. Now Queers, like the N-word, was (and still is to older folks) a derogatory term. (Side note- I do support Gay marriage, on the fact that it is a person's choice, but that's another topic) Fine, the G&L are turning a bad term into a good one. Same thing, but again, if one who is not part of that group says the word, they are crucified.
This leads me to believe that in the U.S., the freedom of speech is not really freedom. You may say what you want but what you say may make you end up in places you wished you weren't. That's why I believe being politically correct is wrong.
So what do you think?

California Budget Cuts Posted April 20th, 2008 in Politics

Now for those of you of don't live in California, here's a brief laydown on what's going on about the state's budget.
The governor (Oh great Arnie, how the hell did you get elected?) has proposed budget cuts throughout the state, mainly in public education with a 4 billion cut. Many teachers have now been getting "pink slips" which means at the end of the year they are fired. The pink slips go around baised on senority, so the younger teachers are fired first.
In the 4 billion dollar cut, more than 1 billion is in the Bay Area alone. In that subgroup high schools are the parts that are effected the most. Also because of the budget cuts, the amount of teachers are lowered, which means the classroom sizes will be more than 40, perhaps 50. In the previous year, (this school year) the majority of classes have 35-40 students, which is more than any other state. (Brief tidbit-California has the highest student per computer ratio, 4.8 to 1, which is a bad thing).
The result of all of this? A lot of teachers out of jobs, and many underclassmen pissed off because they may not be able to do a variety of fun activites (like prom night and so forth). This leads to protesting, treaties being signed by students, and so forth.

I, however, diagree with all of this. When a petition came around in class the other day, I refused to sign it. Because of this, I has booed, called many names, and a whole lot of other crap happened. I, did though explain my argument, which I will tell you Newgrounds.

It's not that I disagree with the majority of my classmen on the horrors of the budget cuts. I mean, how can someone learn in a classroom with 49 other people in it? I just disagree with the way protesting is going on.
1st, the petitions. I asked my classmates the following question. Do you think one, the petition is really going to make it to the governor's desk? In terms of reality, there's really a very small chance. Two, if it does get to his desk, is he even going to care? I said that it would take a miracle if he looked at it. After looking at it, I guess he would probably recycle it. all that work, going around collecting signatures, gone.
2nd point, the money. Yes, 4 billion dollars is a lot of money. Hell, it's a shit load of money. But if the state doesn't get it from education, where else would they get it from? I propose that question to my class. One guy said how about the prison system, California has a lot of those, why not take money from there. (California has the largest prison system in the world) Okay, I said, so are you willing to walk on the streets at night, since now murders, rapists, scam artists, etc., are out on the streets, so no, there goes the prison system. Besides that, there are no other place get money from.
Last, people supporting. Yes, we can petition the government, but the question is will they listen? 99 times out of 100, no. Besidees, what's more threating, a group of adults, or a group of high school minors?
I believe I made my point, but still many hated me. Not that I disagreee, but I believe they are wasting their time. So, Newgrounds, did I make the right choice?

Stay with me on this one, it might take awhile.
Okay, according to the transitive property of math, if a=b and b=c, thereforea has to be equal to c. So far so good.
But, look at it this way. Replace the letters with words.
God=Love. Love=blind. Steve Wonder=Blind. Therefore, is Steve Wonder God?

I hope not.
