Yeah, sorry for double posting, but here's what's probably going to happen.
Unless you guys want a very shitty looking poster it's going to cost at least $30.
I talked to a few copying places, and they said it would cost a lot per copy if it was of high quality.
Example email:
Dear ************,
Thank you for asking us about our copying services. We hope you can find what you need.
Blah blah advertisement blah,
If you want a poster of high quality and of that size, it will cost at least $29.95. If you want more than 1 copy, you will get a discount of $15 for every 5 you buy.
Blah blah blah more advertisement.
End email.
So unless you guys want to fork over that amount of money, someone needs to give me a suggestion.

I have thought about that so hard, and well, I can't pull off all that devotion again for a month to just a poster. I can't do things a second time really, I just get too bored of doing it again. The poster isn't crap. Its really great, but I just hate it now when people post pictures since its obvious, there is no room for it.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to do another poster. I would do it, except my drawing skills are crap. Between americanidiot2f and me, we probably won't have the time or patience to do another one.
Also remember if the rest of you want to another one it better be in this thread. Start another thread and the mods will surely lock it.
Meanwhile we need suggestions on how to copy the bastard.

Response to: When Will Hillary Quit? Posted May 26th, 2008 in Politics

Hillary does have some terrible taste. To say RFK died in June the day Ted found out about his brain tumor was bad taste. To say basically that Obama "might" get shot at is bad taste. She thinks at this piont she is running for 2012, but I doubt that. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if she was voted out of the Senate.
Besides, if Obama was killed at this point more people would go straight to Al Gore over Clinton.

Yeah, from what I've seen, we need some way of copying it in a better way, since the copied version looks a lot like crap. americanidiot2f agrees with me on this. The best way so far is about $50, and I'm assuming most of us don't want to fork over that kind of dough.

I'd like to see when Obama said any of this, in any speech he gave. Sources?

Yes, his minister's a bit off the deep end. Hell, I'm not surprised he came out during Obama's campaign. The minister probably thought it would be a good time to "spend the word about America and God". Look at the other side too. Obama handled the situation relativly well and got through it without much damage. At least it wasn't like Hillary's campaign.
Also, do you know how else was in that church? Oprah Winfrey. Oprah has quite a lot of power in the media, so to call Obama a racist pig is to call Oprah that, and last time I checked she was one of the most powerful people in the country on the media.

Suffice to say there is nothing in the consitution about marriage in general, as with many other controversal topics such as abortion and drugs and so on.......

So any state can ban gay marriage. Why, though, is my question. The LGBT community is just like everyone else when it comes to mainstream life. It's no different than being tall or white.

The Concept of Evil Posted May 15th, 2008 in Politics

Oi, it's me again, with another thread for thought.

We live in a society where there is no good. There is only of absence of evil. Kind of like there is no such thing as cold, only the absence of heat. I'll support this with a fact that which I feel is the main concept of this argument.

Human Nature.

Human nature is the cause of evil. In a sence, evil is a human concept, we created it, for it would not exist otherwise.
We as humans are naturally greedly. We always want the last piece of pie or the closest parking space. At the end of the day it is always about us, or more specificly, me.
But sometimes we feel bad about these things. We get a guilt trip, and feel really bad about it. So we do something to make up for it. For example, if you broke your girlfriend's vase you buy her a new one. You want your conscience to be free of worry. However, most of the time it is not the recieveing end that is happy, it is youself that is happy.
We make ourselves happy by "fixing problems". We only do so because in the end we just what to get happy. Boy, are we greedy.

Which leads us to the various jobs that "help other people". These people aren't doing their job to help, rather they are doing it to feel better. it's the guilt trip.

In the end, it is and always will be about us. We never do good things, rather it is the absence of evil.

After a certain point copyrights do get pretty rediculous, I mean, look at Monsanto.
Several farmers were sued because Monstanto's copyrighted grain blow into their farms and grew....

Also, the process of getting a copyright is way to long. It took one of my friends 7 years to get one, and then 3 years later it was revoked and was "under investigation for possible conflicts with other patents".

Response to: Cali gay marriage ban, no more Posted May 15th, 2008 in Politics

It's about time. Several of my friends are going to be happy about this.

I would like to mention something to your point of the democrats losing if they can't choose a nominee by June. McCain generally seems to be the least hated of the 3, and the polls would tip largely in McCain's favor once eith Obama or Clinton gets the nominee, even before June. Simply on the stats of significant percentaqes of Obama supporters hating Hillary and vice versa.

You do have a point, the longer this runs on the better chance McCain has, but it wouldn't largely tip the polls. More young adults voted in the primaries for Obama, and that group hadn't been poiltically active before. That is a pretty big section of the U.S. population too.

Howver, there's a problem. Powell won't run. Had he ran in 2004 it would have been a hands down victory for him. And another thing is Powell, being part of the U.N., opposes torture, unlike McCain.

The joke is, Hillary lost alreadly. She lost about 2 months ago. It has been mathmaticlly impossible for her to win. The only reason she is still campaigning is to make herself look better for a possible nomination at the Democratic convension.(Which she won't get)
She and Bill deserve each other. Both have lied, and done many things that have pissed people off.
i don't get why Hillary is still campaigning. If she really wanted office, she would have given up already and hope for the vice president nomination. But since she is still going, she is making McCain look better.

OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR MOUTHS, CLOSE YOUR HAND, AND MAKE A FIST.

Any real fans out there?

Sadly, no. There are major problems with this, and therefore, I must disagree.

First and foremost, your title. The world isn't ending, you should say society is ending. Maybe then you won't get as many people on your back.

Second, the format. Never start with space, because you will be talking about the world. When you talk about the world, the other users on Newgrounds from across the world will more or less get pissed off at you. If you say a specific country that you live in, then maybe we can talk. But as of right now, you just a fucking lonely emo kid, probably cutting yourself, on a computer.

3rd. Where are your sources? If you just declare something that is "predicted by many (my favorite part because there is no such thing) greats" then I can't belivev you. Give us a source, then I'll consider this seriously.

That's it for my critism of your thread, now for the real anaysis.

Society is not ending. Despite what you may think, it is not ending. It is becoming dumber and more controllable, but not ending.
The media is what is controling us. It is the media that is controling us with fear. You can read more on this here.
People will not kill for no reason. 9 times out of 10 they have a good reason (at least in their own minds) and the 1 is a crazy nut.
Humans will not rebel against anything. The fact of the matter is that even if they tried they wouldn't make any difference. This is again part of the government not caring and the media. So don't tell people to rebel They wouldn't.

Response to: Car Control? Posted May 1st, 2008 in Politics

At 4/30/08 11:38 PM, AdamRice wrote: Isn't this kinda counterintuitive to your stance on gun control?

I can tell that you're interested in guns, maybe it's a hobby of yours, maybe you like to hunt, maybe you like to shoot at the range, etc... Whatever the reason, guns are one of your passions in life and that's perfectly fine.

So naturally, you wouldn't want the government to step in and tell you that you no longer have permission to own an assault riffle, hand gun, shot gun, rifle, etc...

Now me, I'm interested in cars and trucks. I own a 1968 Cutlass S. Yeah, a gas guzzling, 455 cubic inch V8 muscle car. My favorite hobby, one of my passions in life, is restoring it. I really have a thing for all of those cars from the late 60's and early 70's.

If the government came along and told me I could no longer legally drive my Cutlass on the street because it didn't meet a high efficiency fuel standard, well, I would be furious! My reaction would be that it's my money and my car, so if I want to spend $10/gallon to drive a car that gets 11 mpg, it's my choice and my right as a citizen.

I guess you could say that you're a gun person and I'm a car person.
The stance holds, you don't want the government touching your guns, I don't want the government touching my cars.

Heh heh, another great topic. :D

Anyways, AdamRice's got a point. Like guns, or for that matter anything, it is a consumer's choice what to buy. Obviously if it is unefficent cars then companies will continue making them.
This is no more than an argument about the Second Admenment, just istead with cars. It is the people's choice. If the government interviens, then their free market is now a controlled markey.
You can guess what that leads to. I don't need to go into it here.

Who gives a flying fuck what's going on else where? we are in a HUGE country, with very few people in it. We have a massive amount of Natural resources & grow more food in a year than we can eat in 10 years. Remember our country is the second largest in area & the smallest in population (we've got about 35 million people in all of Canada) We have the largest amount of fresh water of any other country.

So don't worry Brian... move to Canada & be happy, like we all are !

It's people like these who make their countries look bad. Not only that, they try to be smart and fuck up an intelligent conversation.
