Where do all you people get these awesome sound effects? To be certain I'm looking for thunder and a typewriter effect.

If it still doesnt work, it may be that the button is within a movieclip, in which case do a

_root.gotoAndStop(8);

Hi, I had flash and used it last year but sucked. Now I'm starting again and I saw some tuts. For buttons they say use

on(release){
gotoAndPlay(8);
}

should work. I've tried it like 50 times and it still wont go to my 8th frame. What do I do?

P.S. I'm using Macromedia Flash Pro 8

Hi! I wanted to know is this possible? I have a line that I can drag. Can I make it when I hit a ball very fast it will go flying? If it is possible can you post the AS?

I need help with 2 things that I think are actionscripted. First, can you hit like a ball and make it go flying? (whats the code.) Is there any way when something goes off screen it follows the ball (in a game) (what is the code for that)

When I'm in flash 8 every time I go to Actionscript it has an error and closes. Is there anyway I can fix this? Thanks in advance!

The link doesnt work... A piovt is Pivot Stick Animator kinda like flash but only sticks. We are both noobs so if we ask you a few questions and we get good answers you can join the team. But if not, we have to see a movie that is at least a 3
