haha okay you win.
@OP - just search on google what you want to convert (i.e. mp4 to wav). try to get a secure site to download from like cnet or download.com

So theres not really anything to do about it.
Yea definitely. If you're actually uploading audio thats high quality enough to matter whether its 192 vs 320 or mp3 vs wav then it can be nice not to have to render both versions. But thats kind of a standard procedure anyway to render both a 192k/32 wav and a 48.1/128 mp3. Well usually its more like 96/24 not 192/32 for the wav.
Well there was originally going to 10-15 songs, and seeing as there are only 11 entries I suppose they don't even need to judge considering that none of the songs are terrible cept maybe me and kalapsia's.
Also you can use white noise for percussion too.
That's fine with me I just thought it was worth asking. Here's another nursery rhyme for you:

Do you want it to just be like reading a nursery rhyme? Or can It be singing or screaming or something ridiculous?

Blah doublepost oops. Anyways the ones I listed will sound more like SNES but there is a VST plugin called VOTM also that attempts to simulate the Yamaha YM2151 sound chip in sega genesis. It's free too at KVR: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/228.html (remove spaces in URL).
Another one is called Chip32 and is commonly compared to VOTM. http://www.dontcrack.com/freeware/downlo ads.php/id/3022/software/Chip32/
There are a couple free VST's that I always suggest when trying to make chiptunes. Magic 8 Bit Plugin you can search on google. Also if you go to tweakbench.com you will find an array of free VST's. The ones that are for chiptunes are called Peach, Toad, and Triforce.
This question seems to be pretty common though. Don't forget to search the forums for your topic before making a new thread. Cheers!
Some players will compress your mp3 even farther if it needs to which will degrade the quality. If you want to learn more about that then I would suggest looking into books by Bobby Owinski(probably spelled that wrong).
Sometimes they get to it in a couple of days, and sometimes it takes a month. Just depends on how busy they are here currently. Realistically it should be less then 2 weeks though.

it's HARD to find a music shop so i'm settling with the one i randomly (drunkenly XD) stumbled upon.
Well I would suggest buying from this place called the internet or as ex president Bush calls "the internetz"
Sweet. It's nice to know there are still seemingly obvious functions that I don't know. Thanks for the help.
I figured out a way to simulate the problem as I described above. If you add an automation clip of the mute button that turns the mute on, then delete the automation from the automation list in the sequencer(without removing it from the playlist first) then the sound will automatically mute even with the automation not there anymore when the song starts. FL studio glitch??

despite the fact i'll get enough money in about a month, i make this thread now because i like to know things in advance. REALLY in advance.
now, a friend of mine mentioned Yamaha psr-295. when i went to the music store, the guy told me it's shit and i should settle for a Casion with "touch" function that costs about half the price.
i'm interested in mainly two questions:
1) is he bullshitting me about the "touch" thing? from what he said, the keyboard detects how hard i hit on the key and adjusts the sound accordingly, eliminating the need in those piano pedal things.
2) assuming he is not bullshitting me with the "touch" thing, what model would you suggest?
while i'm not exactly a pro, i learn fast, and i hate passionately the so called "simplified versions" of things.
It's impossible to properly suggest a keyboard if we don't know your budget and what you are going to use it for. the PSR-295 has a good sound bank and okay price but a piano player would vomit while trying to play it the keys are so light.
like really girly new age techstep. haha
(my bad on the doublepost)
Well jackrocker got on the main reason(1), but here are my 3 strong points i feel compelled to bring up.
1 - NG has extremely limiting genre selections. People tend to generally add anything fast or anything grungy to the dnb genre.
2 - The voting system is EXTREMELY corrupt. Not only can you vote on your own submission, but you can vote on it every fricken day. All it takes is 2 friends to help you vote and your scores will never drop below 4.38 no matter how crappy. Also dont forget all the zero bombers who make the unpopular good music a story of the past with 1 vote.
3 - The OP is completely right in the wrong way. It's not that its bad DnB. It's that its not industry standard DnB. Honestly if you played paragonx9 in a dnb club you might get laughed off stage, and yet here on NG you get 2k reviews saying how great you are and 70k downloads. Newgrounds tends to have its own general spin on the genre that can be quite pleasant to a lot of people. I personally think of it mostly as tech step.

Well you make it hard to suggest some without listing what you have already tried, but if you haven't already, check out Magic 8 bit plugin and the following 3 vsts from tweakbench: Peach, Toad, and Triforce. Those are all free too.
I also have a quandary for you guys. I run into the problem a lot where volume faders seem to be set in stone. It's as if there is an automation or controller telling it to go back to a certain setting(even if there is no automation) when played in song mode. It happens with both the channel volume faders and mixer volume faders. I always end up having to add an additional automation clip into the mix just to fix it.

I have 2 of them by my old artist title. More of a trance cover though.

If it's a VST then it will work fine in both of those programs, and if it's just a sample pack of WAV files then it will work in virtually every DAW. I personally think that buying samples is a bit of a waste of time. There are thousands of free ways to get solid audio samples.

Moonlight Sonata is a good one.
Look for requiems. Those tend to be sad.

If it says you are banned then you are going to have to make a new account to submit music. Last I hear moderators can't do anything about it even.
I might make a crack at this. It will be a fun way to work out some of my rust once my computer is set up.
I'm collabing with Kalapsia.
