GSnap is terrible. Just get a better singer haha
well without a fog machine most lighting looks retarded. Promotion wise, make a tons of flyers and leave them all over school campuses. Also posting an event on facebook and inviting tons of people is a good way to go. If you hand out flyers personally, people are more likely to look at them.
There was a good one on FFR...To bad FFR got butt raped

I presume you guys know all about Tax Cannabis 2010 in California(legalizing bud). Make sure to add them on facebook and check out their website and maybe volunteer. The bill is already ballot bound though, they turned in 700k signatures when they only needed 433k hahaha.

We did you get your submission. We're just waiting for Amateursu(whatever his name is) to submit his review, then like I said either Mich or Loans will PM you with that information.
As for the latest news, right now were just working on finding a duplication facility that will take orders smaller then 1000 haha(for a good price, CD baby has a ridiculous price). As for the graphic design we could really use some help, we will need someone to design a album backing once we have the songs in place and mastered. I think we generally decided on the name "Unity is Power." I will work on finalizing a good amount of information this weekend.
However, everyone seems to be busy in one way or another and I can't just take over the album, so we are primarily waiting for Loans, Mich, and Ameteursu.
IN THE MEAN TIME YOU GUYS NEED TO FINISH THIS, WE HAD SOMETHING LIKE 25 PEOPLE SIGN UP AND WE ONLY HAVE ABOUT 8-10 ENTRIES.

Sweetness. Why don't you guys promote/request promote Loans and Mich? They know their stuff enough for audio approval. Actually there's probably a grip of people that would be up for this task, however from my experience so far they seem to be the most active forumwise/helpfulwise.

So far only I have reviewed it. When the other 3 finish their reviews either Mich or Loans will PM you with a single compounded review.
I really wish I knew what P.R.O. meant so that I don't look like an idiot when I upload audio. Any help on that one guys?

At the bottom left of Edison there are six characters for different things. The first is a menu, the 2nd through 5th are for changing different aspects of the song. Click the 4th one which is for the volume envelope and make sure that its flat in the center, otherwise I have no idea whats going on. Also make sure your not cutting the front of the waveform your trying to hear. Good luck

the same goal?
There's two main ways to do this. You could automate the tempo of the entire song for one bar by right clicking the tempo and hitting "Create automation clip" then editing what shows up in the playlist, or if you just want it for one pattern and not the rest of the song, you can can right click the tempo(with your pattern you want to change open) and chose "Edit events in piano roll"

theres a list

Like that probably. Maybe with a little criticism attached too.

Yeah, as long as it's also under a CC license.

Look harder. Shouldn't cost us more then 2 dollars. If we get enough it could cost less then a dollar per CD including case and album art.
Can you guys hook me up with some links to good techno/trance songs here on newgrounds?
Based on the song you provided you could just go to the trance genre and listen to any song. That's basically what I would call generic newgrounds music-- trance mixed with techno mixed with hairy mountain women music.

I think there's a lot of us who just wait for someone to post a stupid thread so we can correct them, then when a serious thread comes up find a way to make it sarcastic(unless we actually have input).
or maybe thats just the impression I get

The two things we need to happen right now are for people to finish their tracks and send em in firstly, and secondly for more work on graphic design.
If you can think of any ways to help either of those two things happen send me a PM letting me know. Thanks.

Try adjusting your buffer length in the audio settings. Sometimes that can help. I get the same problem on really large projects and have yet to figure it out considering its not a matter of CPU power.

I was wondering if anyone knew some of the best dirty house songs on NG. I'm talking about house with a filthy almost grimy bass. Anything that would be a song you could imagine blasting in a club. Thanks in advance everyone!
The best way to find these tracks is to look at someones favorite songs who likes a similar style. I have a bunch of hard house favorites. I think xKore has some good favorited songs too. Para probably does as well.
FAVORIT STEALIN FTW
Those videos are pretty FTW worthy

If you can prove it then you can post those songs and the proof here, and eventually they will be taken care of.

just stick with deckadance or VirtualDj man. :]
Traktor and Ableton live are the two amazing mixing programs. Most people pick Ableton because its also an award winning DAW. I just like traktor because I <3 native Instruments

Just because they're using Garageband doesn't mean its a duplo song. Garageband has individual notes that are public domain and if I'm not mistaken also takes VST's now.

no because it is a program. not a piece of hardware.
trying to mix songs together without trying to get that one program that i have no idea of what its called.
just load the songs up in the playlist, match the tempos and align them where you want it to mix.
The sennheiser HD 25's are meant for loud environments. Infact they are nominated for best headphones in the international dance music awards. They are also very good for monitoring purposes.
That plug-in has quite the feature list. Strange how the programmer seems to be unable to type one legible sentence though.
