Yea and while your at it, code your own DAW with machine language.
Thats the only real way to get stuff done.
And the really elite people desin their own OS to run their machine language daw on
Paragonx9 should clearly get it =P
or maybe the person should have more then just 2 songs in 2009
I guess you missed this youtube user named "flscratcher". He has a 9 part tutorial thats looks promising.

Vanguard also has a really easy to use gate tool built in
Haha well I liked how people kept submitting a whole week after the deadline because they enjoyed making shit so much
soooo, am I reading badly? or wasn't the deadline all the way back last week?
So uhhh...who won? who sucked the most?

VIP-Zone has good free samples for kicks and hats and snares/claps
or Kontact comes with good ones(part of Komplete 6 or seperate NI buy)
Sound effects - Fl Studio doesn't have that many effects and they don't really fit my taste.
Make your own =/
Synthesizers - Some saws with good, clean sound, and not too much background noise.
NI Massive, or NI Absynth (both included in Komplete 6)
Electric Guitars?
Guitar Rig 4 (part of Komplete 6 too)
Gated Instruments - yeah.. those instruments where you hold the note and it keeps repeating at certain points and sounds real cool xD
learn to make gates via fl studio tutorial on youtube=)
NFX has a good one
If your gonna start using sample based VST's then I would suggest Native Instruments over reFX any day. Komplete 6 = best VST pack ever; or individually, I would pick Massive or Absynth.
Haywire produced a LOT of quality tunes in 09. My vote would go for him.
So I like making custom sound effects, or creating ringtone versions of my songs and sending them to my phone, but I thought I would share a really easy way to do this.
Myxer.com allows you to upload and then convert & send sounds to your phone for the price of a picture message.
For good phone quality I also suggest rolling off the low freqs in an EQ, and maybe some of the highs too.
Have fun.

Yea with reverb you can muffle the signal with wetness/dryness of the signal.
You might also want to play with a little chorus and/or a really wide band pass filter.
Also I'm sure you know, as everyone does, that the genres here on NG are one of the many fucked up and limiting things. There's like 10 bagillion flame threads on it too.

I would say old school hip hop uses less corny sounds, more vintage recordings (think 50's jazz clips, and orchestral recordings from the 30's and what not) to sample. Usually is more about flow and speed in vocal rhythm, where as modern hip hop has more singing, effects, and modern synthesized melodies.
Old School vs. Modern
Sampling vs. Synthesis

And... What differentiates House from Progressive Trance?
House sits at around 125-132BPM where as Progressive Trance sits at around 138-146BPM.
Also house is centered much more on the back beat and tends to have more vocals. Progressive House is almost exactly like Progressive Trance, but many people consider the BPM to be easier/better to dance to then Trance speeds. So it's mainly just tempo variation differences.

Or Finale. . . or even Mario Paint.
The medium to a final musical product doesn't change the title of the person who created it, you are confusing levels and styles of professionalism as a composer with the qualifications of just BEING a composer.
That said, in interest to the OP, you are likely going to wan't the first or second version of Cubase.
lol... welcome to newgrounds
someone will link you with what you should have done in a second

He said we could full on remix the thing, so I'm sure he doesn't care. I only used the orchestral waves and MIDI sequencing for example and he hasn't said anything about that.
I detect a minute amount of fail. hmmmm
I also judged and PMd aunt coreman about it.

the noise doesnt exist. its all in your head.
I guess that would fail to be "in FL" --maybe I should read better and put down that bong for a while hahaha

Couldn't you rewire it into another program and just record each pattern? Maybe something thats better with recording like protools or something...if you have it.
I realize that styles of visualizing whats in the playlist can vary a lot, but I am used to labeling things, and putting them in a place thats relatively similar to whats near it(drums in one spot, synths in another, etc). However you still have better organization then any other artists file that I have seen of which i've worked with, which is really sad to me haha
yay for the judges (bump)
weed brings out the full potential of everything!
holy tits on a stick thats a lot of downloads. i thought gorebastard had the highest DLs
good lord am I the only organized fl studio user in the world?
