It's fucking hot here , people here are either called reddy or naidu , and we have no fucking nightlife.
same story everywhere , bro
Haha with manu selling ronaldo the top slot's going to get even more competitive.

Spend less time on the internets.Go out and meet people.
Who knows , you might actually be happier. After all , the internet is just a substitute for real life.
Cussing is as old as the languages itself. What do you think the cavemen used to say when they banged their foot against a log , or burned their hands on a fire , or their woman got clubbed and taken away by another man - a grunt maybe , but it must have been the earliest form of profanity.
I seriously doubt the intentions of this kid.If he wants to stop cussing , fine. But cussing is as natural as the human fart , and he would have just replaced with another more FAMILY FRIENDLY word , but he would be cussing all the same.Otherwise he would have to act like a gentleman 24x7 , which I seriously doubt is happening. What would happen when the kid watches porn? wouldn't he even THINK of the word ?
Profanity in moderation is a perfectly acceptable thing.Say in front of your friends , or when you're online. But when this kid grows up , chances are his hormones will kick in, and the club will fizzle out faster than you can say "that deviant bastard."
Kids these days , thinking that they are more mature than the rest of us.
I blame the media.

A bit off topic here , but I have failed to see ANY threat to america's freedom since world war II.
Then there was the cold war , but there wasn't any WAR as such , you know.
I like your hammer.

Well , i'm very comfortable with Indian food.My basic diet at home everyday consists of Rice and curry , and sometimes Roti too.
But then I do love pizza ( Domino's cheese burst ,Yum!) ,McDonalds , Subway sometimes.
But I prefer homemade Indian food.I love my mom's cooking .
And I'm vegetarian btw , so I guess my diet is a bit restricted.
Sorrry for another cooking question .I once had a curry with chesse in it instead of meat and it was delicious. Do you know the name of it?
Well that's too vague a description man , I may be no food expert - but maybe if you describei t better ( colour , ingredients etc) I could help you out.
But what comes to mind right now is this dish called haleem , traditionally a non-veg curry but recently they made a vegetarian version of it.
What is the difference between Pakistani Punjabis and Indian Punjabis also what is it like where you live locally?
Well , since you ARE a south asian , you would know that when India attained independence , India and Pakistan were one. But thanks to the crappy leadership we had at the time , it made sense that Indian Muslims could no longer continue in India , and needed a saperate state. This ridiculous notion actually went all the way to be implemented , and Pakistan was born.
The unfortunate and bloody partition dealt a great damage to life and property , giving rise to communal tensions etc.A good portion of the migrants from india into present-day Pakistan were from the indian state of Punjab , and thus Indian and Pakistani Punjabis not only share cultural , but in some cases blood relations as well.
As a South Indian , My family was not affected by the partition , but I do have friends from north India , Whose families had moved from present day Pakistan into India during the partition , leaving their whole estates behind.
What language(s) do you speak?
Well , I speak and write in English , HIndi and Telugu.
I can also somewhat understand Bihari , Punjabi , Tamil and malayalam , and I finished my level 1 of german recently.
Well India is divided into 29 states , and each state has it's own local language , and each local language has many sub-dialects , as you go deeper into the state.
And this is not even counting the languages which are not very much in common use(i.e "dying out" languages used by certain communities) , languages formed by mixture of other languages (eg : A mixture of hindi and urdu) , and languages imbibed from other countries ( English , urdu etc).
While hindi is spoken across the nation , one also has a grip over his local language , and the language spoken by his parents (i.e "mother tongue").

Do all Indians like spicy foods? And why is everything always with rice?
In a broad generalisation, we indians love our spicy food. We actually wonder how you an actually eat food that is so bland!
India has always been a country with fertile soil , and has conditions ideal for growing rice. The south Indians have their staple food as rice , but in the nothern part of the country , they primarily stick to wheat in the form of rotis.
Sorry about the long time to reply , got caught up with some work.

What dish works best with prawns? Lol sorry about the cooking questions.
Well as a vegetarian , I cannot really give you any presonal opinion. However , I was in goa once with my friends , and they kept ordering prawn curry , and fried prawns with biryani and pulao , so I guess you should be considering rice dishes.

is it still in use?
Yes it is.
Over half the seats in Indian Institutions are now reserved for the lower classes. The other 50% fall under "general category" , ie persons of any caste can apply.
That's how it affects me personally. As you go more and more into rural india , the caste system becomes more prevalent. But I've never seen it happen to be honest.
And yeah , in case of arranged marriages , the parents generally look around for a groom of similar caste , although inter-caste marriages are not so uncommon.
Hope that helped.
At 6/20/09 01:01 AM, Gagsy wrote: What is your favourite type of curry dish?
Well , basically any Paneer dish - like Palak Paneer , Kadai Paneer , Paneer Butter Masala etc.
Of course , there is a lot more to Indian cuisine than just curry :D
I'm india Indian.
I'm studying engineering - and I'm also a pretty good driver. But no , no plans of driving a cab yet.
