That is definitely not how I implied it, I meant it would be funny if someone were to believe your commandments if they put them in a book because people will believe anything in a book.
The funny part is how someone could put it in a book and people would try and follow them.
Oddish. I suppose it would taste like a radish.
Arrgh. I know.
Something weird happened.
I must've dragged some button onto the message box somehow and it brought up some javascript stuff and yeahhh.

Do you have any suggestions for the music that should go along with it?At 6/18/10 08:34 AM, JaccoNL wrote:

Are cavemen allowed if there is a dinosaur in it?
and - d'awww.
i had a god idea, but i guess since I don't have enough submissions then I won't do it.
but if anyone wants to use my idea, have a go at it:
Starts off with a caveman in the jungle and a sabertooth tiger comes in.
Caveman has a sabertooth skinned robe/tarp/dress thingy... Not spots, stripes.
Sabertooth (somewhat angrily) : Dude.
Caveman: What?
Sabertooth: HOw many times have I told you not to wear that?
Caveman: Wear what?
Sabertooth: Don't play stupid. Our fur.
Caveman: Ohhh. This? Nah, nah. Your family won't mind. Will they?
2 choices - 1. Sabertooth just claws caveman to death as soon as he says that, ooooor
2. Ten Minutes Later screen pops up and the sabertooth's family are having different parts of caveman's body.
I personally like 1 but you can do whatever you like with it.
Yep. So far I've got my... 5-ish first seconds done. I'll try to finish within 2 or 3 weeks. Maybe 4.
It kinda depends on how well it flows.
Well, you'll need quite a bit for a moneymaking online rpg.
First, you'll need its own site if you want it to be incredibly successful.
On that site you will need advertisements, as they are a big source of money.
You should make ads for your site too, or else no one will know about it.
Then, you should have premium, or free trials that you need to get premium for to continue.
Premium's another way to make money.
Overall, I'd say if you make it on AS and it is completely flash based, I don't know how much money you will make. I'm thinking you'll need to branch out and learn amazing coding first before you attempt at something humongous.
Even if you consider yourself advanced now, think of it as 'Am I good enough to make a successful site off of just my programming and art?'
And also, think of art.
Are you good at art?
You need to be pretty good at art, or have someone, or multiple people, help you with good art.
Good luck if you really want to tackle this project.
Oh, woops.
I forgot to cut out the end.
The pun I meant was: "Stick animation is good for beginners, but realize you shouldn't stick to this forever."

Anyways, like what was said earlier, it was really choppy, so raise the FPS to 24 or something along those lines.
Pretty good for a first time ever.
Alot of people work better with the brush tool, so try messing around with that.
^ Pun un-intentional?
Anyways, it is a good... start?
However, it is incredibly short, the animation seems choppy, and the guy seems floppy.
By that I mean, the jumps seem odd.
Some of the animation seems to play back twice, and the pausing for some text or whatever seems out of place, especially when up on a ring or something he's holding on to.
But I think the main thing is, you need to put more frames in, making him do more.
DBZ, the one you gave in the example. The only other one I knew of was Lost, and I'm not great with realistic people yet, just cartoons.
I have audacity as well, but the thing is, I wouldn't consider myself a narrator voice under any other effect I put on it. But if you'd like to try, give me a mail.
Well, I've gotten a bit of a start, but I need a narrator voice now.
Someone who can do a sarcastic deep voice.
I'll try and do my best to get one in if that is alright with you.
I know I don't have examples, but I'll sort it out. If you don't think its good enough when I have a small preview done, then you can take me off the list. Number 5 maybe?
Well, I'm not positive if I'd like to join or not...
30 FPS is quite large for someone just experimenting in flash.
But maybe, all depends on time.
So, is this a DBZ Previously on... or any show previously on?
Just wondering.
I may join, but I don't have any examples uploaded here.
I'll show you if you really need examples.
Well then I'd say you'll need backgrounds for one, because games such as these need multiple backgrounds. So I was just looking up some places that are common, but since I don't know much about DBZ, I don't know what what looks like.
Well, for now I think it has a fairly nice base, but could definitely use a main menu.
And some of the sound effects are incredibly loud, so maybe start balancing the sound effects out a little more, and use 'x' as a 'Special' button, for moves that only apply to that character.
Maybe 'z' for taunt?
Well, I do like the idea. I'm looking up stuff on wikis about DBZ, and while doing so, also brainstorming on what you could do for the game. I'd like to see an adventure mode of it, as well as freeplay. Whatever else that could come along depends on how much work you really think you want to do.
Well, I definitely think that you've got a good start as a base for the project, but it would be difficult to create too many characters because if you were to make a pick screen, I personally don't like them to be colored.
But if there was perhaps an adventure mode, then I think you could incorporate quite a lot, seeing if there was a boss and other enemies along the way.
I guess it kind of depends what you are going for.
I remember. But not very well.
Oh I'm also freakishly scared of pale face things that have fangs and kill people. I always have nightmares about them. And butchers who skin people. :P
Its kind of embarrassing, but when somebody barfs, I am as scared as hell. I duck and cover. :P
Well, I would probably have to say dying...
