My friends 360 broke. Microsoft UK sent him a box to send it back in, and he got a replacement.

Although it did take them like 3 and a half weeks to get it sorted

Yes its the parents fault. 8 year olds have no source of funding except through allowance. Stop buying sweets/junk food during the weekly shop, he doesnt have the means to, problem solved. Well it would have been if they had had the sense to do it when he wasnt a lardarse.
Spoil your kid and this is what you get.

GTA3 summed it up perfectly:

"I'm a marketing manager who lives in the suburbs and commutes to work on the highway. I live alone, so of course I needed a car that can seat 12 and is equipped to drive across arctic tundra...it just makes me feel better! The new Maibatsu Monstrosity...mine's bigger!"

JFK was killed by the CIA, and roswell is bullshit. Both sides were working on flying saucer type aircraft, but stopped because they sucked (see the hole in the ground in nevada). What are the chnces of an alien spacecraft crash landing on a secret aircraft testing facility? I don't think anyone really believes it was a weather balloon.....but aliens?

Flying saucers would have been a fantastic idea during the cold war though. Think about it. A spy device / first strike weapon that would be written off by most of the target country's population as a hoax / mass hysteria. Roswell isnt bullshit, just the excuse that it was indeed aliens that crashed there!
Theres no proof JFK was killed by the CIA. I read in some conspiracy book that his assassination was sanctioned by the Vatican. For what reason I forget.

Anyway, I digress. If you really want to slow global warming, just drop a massive ice cube into the ocean every so often

2.) The segment of Krusty's adult show about herpes was cut.

However, it's fine to leave Mr. Burns cackling for days at the hilarity of "the crippled Irishman."

A microcosm of how censorship is done by a bunch of morons that have no idea about what they're doing and rely on knee jerk reactions over sense and/or logic. This is by the same channel that repeated the footage for the Celebrity Big Brother racism row on three seperate shows, by the way.

I saw that one. I knew something had been cut from the krusty's show segment, but I couldnt remember what. Its weird considering BBC2 is running family guy (albeit late night runs) Even with the explitives deleted, its still quite edgy for BBC2.

This topic seems to be mostly about TV cencorship. Let's hear about other stuff as well!

AS a severe n00bish question, when a specification says (for example) 3ghz dual core.
Is this two processors running at 3ghz or 2 processors combining to give 3ghz?

Yeh, Supreme commander is a pretty high end game at the moment.

Minimum specs:
1.8 gz
512 RAM
8GB Hard Drive Space
128mb Graphics Card with pixel shader 2

Not too bad, but the recommended specs are extreme:

>3ghz
>1gb RAM
10GB hard drive space
>512 Video Card

Im looking for a 512 Graphics card but whenever I open a review for a reasonable one on ebay I see the word low end. I can afford a good card. Can anyone tap me about £300

Response to: PC Upgrades Posted March 1st, 2007 in General

I think I need to up my graphics card as well though. I got supreme commander yesterday and it lags like a biatch. The recommended is a 512
