I am to lazy to read up on this organization.
It sounds like they are trying to make an Utopian Society. Obviously they haven;t read Utopia by Thomas Moore. At the end of the book the society collapses. ( I might be incorrect.... i read this along time ago).
A society based on what they are aiming lacks the ambition, drive, and mere humanity that our society has. How can we live a life where every thing is just handed to us.
Also even if we did create this society and every one had equal share of every thing, Man would find some way to benefit further. Causing once more for an abrupt change in society.
If we can live in the society we already have without trying to kill each other why change it.

To me, it's sad to see Christianity turned into an anti-Islam hate machine. Especially when it comes to using a national day of remembrance as an opportunity to bash innocent people and add insult to injury for those families who lost loved ones to the attacks.
Does anyone else have any opinions on this?
I don't think that the Church you speak of takes up that much of the world to pass this. It just isn't plausible. there are to many Muslims in the world to allow that anyways.

I agree.....
I think NG should ass Web development/design to the site, personally because I am a web designer.
I believe by adding it NG will gain revenue and popularity because of the products that can be sold though NG.
Also, it provides an added element to the collaboration of the artist, developers, and authors/
What do you think?
This is a rather post btw.
I think that incest is incest regardless if it involves homosexual sex. Therefore it should be illegal.

Anyone else see the problem here?
My own grandmother said the same thing about hurricane Katrina.
Actual quote: "Oh, God was looking out for us that day, the hurricane missed us by a bit and hit the town instead."
Are you kidding me?
What did God have against the other people and why is this epidemic of selfish ignorance going around like the plague? I see it everywhere now.
I doubt this is going to generate much discussion because I can't believe you all are so ignorant to share the views mentioned above.
I have a hard time with this subject. I feel that god is definitely powerless, in that, if he were "god" he would have the power to end suffering. I believe that what we have come to understand as "god" is just a sad excuse to give an unexplainable event/occurrence a name so that us humans, who only use 10% of our brain, can wrap our mind around.
I personally don't believe there could be a god. However I don't believe that we were made from a tiny spec in space that appear out of "no where".

I lean towards the opinion that the difference between loaning one's labor to a party and someone owning your labor is very small. Like the difference between being a car that's loaned out to someone and a car that is owned by someone, in fact one could make the libertarian argument that since one owns the labor they would take better care of it then someone renting it , but since I don't subscribe to that particular theory I won't.
You could say that those that rent out there labor have a choice and I daresay freedom to choose there employers , however particularly in this economic climate that's a very thin argument when people have to take any work they can get. I don't much see it as a choice as at all, basically the choice between not working and starve and work and starve which isn't much of a choice in the first place.
Personally I choose to work for myself , becuase if I'm going to work for someone it might as well be me , but a lot of people don't have that choice or simply aren't aware of it. Anyways , whats your opinion on renting vs owning labor ?
I didn't read the post above of me. Its seemed way to long. :( Maybe later.
Any ways, I think that the different between them is indeed small. The definition, or my defintion, is that renting/loaning allows the freedom to choose the owner or the person you work; and owning would take away that freedom.
In my opinion if it were a perfect world renting would be the best choice from the two, however, like you said it depends on the economic conditions. In this economy there is no room for the privilege to freely choose your employer. Right now, having a set position is preferably the best option because you have a set income.
Now, to finish off, I believe that if you were the one renting/owning labor for your company then I would think renting labor would be the most preferable, in that, you can hire and let go employee freely saving money.
