I am trying to test for audio that is playing in the browser. I have a program that uses the SoundSpectrum, so I need to make sure that there are no Flash files playing audio in any browser window.

On Music Catch, Reflexive tests for audio in the browser, and I would like to do exactly what he is doing here:

Yeah, SWF Encrypt is a lot better. I ended up buying that one. I just wish I had known about it before I bought the crappy one (SWF Protect).

Apparently if you buy SWF Encrypt in April, they will give you version 5.0 for free when it comes out in May.

So I was about to submit a game, and then I saw that Newgrounds suggests using SWF Protect to protect your files from decryption.

I went to the SWF Protect site, which doesn't look very proffessional, and bought a license for the software. They say to use the trial version and email them the Hardware ID, so they will send you a code to activate the full version (says it should happen within 0-4 hours).

I emailed them about a day ago with my Hardware ID, and have still not received any response. Is this company legit or what? Why is Newgrounds suggesting such a shady company?

I tried to encrypt it using the trial version, but that doesn't seem to have worked, because a friend of mine with a decrypter easily got all the actionscript.

Anyone else here use SWF Protect?
