were they on the top rated page? those are the ones im talking about

yea, i had a feeling it probably was.

Hip Hop section Posted April 15th, 2007 in Audio

i dont mean to be " hatin' " on anyone, but i personally think the Hip Hop- Modern section is pretty screwed up. There isnt one song on the top rated page that is older than febuary, and the oldest song on there is by a guy whos only submitted 2 songs and the one on the top rated page has about 20 downloads. i dunno, im not really into rap myself, but it seems like most of the top rated stuff is pretty much crap. discuss?

Response to: Your Changes For The Audio Portal! Posted April 15th, 2007 in Audio

i didnt feel like reading all 11 pages of this chat, so these ideas might have already been said:

-A 'most downloads' section for top downloaded songs

-a user can only download his own music, like i dunno, 3 times? and another user can only download it like 5. this would prevent self-downloading or 'framing people to make it look like they self download'.

-get expireience, BP, and whistle points in the Audio section too (that one i know was already said but i wanted to put stress on it ) and getting exp from reviewing is a great idea.

Response to: top 5 empires Posted April 11th, 2007 in Politics

yes, definetley the british empire. didn't it span over 60% of the world's land at it peak? something like that. there was no chinese empire in the bronze age. maybe the mongols or manchu, but no china. the ottomans, yes, were a great empire. i really cant make a top 5, but i will say that the egyptians accomplished quite alot, too.

Response to: Equality: Battle of the Sexes Posted April 11th, 2007 in Politics

mmmm, yea...i'd say its pretty equal.

noone watches women's sports. a vast majority of married couples have the man working and the woman staying home. women get raped much more frequently. if a girl under 18 sends you a strip video or something, you are getting charged for possesion of underage pornography. the girl, im pretty sure, is not charged for anything. it is balanced now, both genders have their advantages and disadvantages. like the guy above me said, if you're gonna try to make a point, talk about something other than hair dye.

Response to: New York city banned the "N" word Posted April 11th, 2007 in Politics

ok, the n word is banned. now how bout you make cracker, heeb, beaner and chink illegal too? i think its all pretty ridiculous. the people who use the n word the most are african americans anyway.

Not true, because I (more or less) don't believe in God yet I've never been arrested, I've never had any serous diseases and my life is generally good. Can't complain about it.
Me either. I've never been arrested or anything like that.

In addition, religion usually condemns a lot of things, such as homosexuality. Is teaching that gay people should be put to death a better way to live?

When you use the bible and apply it to your life, you usually have to filter out a lot of crap. What is the point of having such an incomplete source of morality? I'm sure you yourself could easily write a moral code that would be generally better.

im not gonna take sides, but i kinda agree with the native americans, when they said that Christians dont bring up the Bible unless it works in their favor, something like that . they still slaughtered thousands of native americans and enslaved innocent africans, is that Godly?

i find either idea hard to believe, of how the universe was created, but i doubt we will ever know for sure. but i do agree with the "theory" of evolution. don't flame me, im just stating what i find more logical. im not saying that God cant't exist.

3. I have been here way longer than you i know this stuff.
4. Audio forum is about audio makin not voice acting.

yes it is for audio 'makin' so why are you just bitching about people not talking with perfect english. i have to admit though, this post was off topic too >.<

I have; it has two sound effects for it. One a simple page turn, which I'll admit could work, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. The second one is just outright terrible. You wouldn't happen to know of any other sites would you?

try breakbeat. the website is....

download some of their Fx packs, you're sure to find something you like.

lol, nice. what i do is sit down on my piano/keyboard and play a random but cool sounding chord progression, then just like my musical instinct take it from their. or, you can try

1) making a remix
2) taking a walk / jog out side, that usually gives me ideas

hope this helped!
