Actually they are, they have some pretty "epic" tracks. The stuff on the radio doesn't really progress much.

I'd say, old Mars Volta, Pink Floyd.. and I can't really pick a third. I used to listen to a lot of Coheed, King Crimson is cool, so is Dream Theater, and Yes, Tool is pretty good, and of course Rush... blah hard to say. Forerunners of a new genre ;) A lot of their older stuff was really experimental, still is now, but more electronic. Their new CD consists only of samples, no actual guitar. A good electronic sound for this day and age, but not the same stuff you've heard before. Animal Collective might be a bit odd on a first listen, but once you've heard the song 3 or 4 times and finally start to piece it together, it's pretty good stuff ;D

No I don't believe Newgrounds gives you any viruses, but I do think the site can make you sick ;)

I know this is not true for certain, there's at least 100 entries a day, not all those people get listed on the front ;) And if you took the time to read the thread (ie the post above yours) you can see proof that not everybody gets listed.
