Warriors improve with gear. Hence the more purps you have the better your Warrior gets. They're just flat out the most gear dependent class. Hey, in PvE everyone loves a good Prot Warrior. Hell, pretty much as long as you can tank people will love you.

I wouldn't exactly classify Warriors as horrible in PvP, I would probably say they're just missing something. Any ranged damage dealer just has too much on the Warriors anymore. Spell Reflect helps, but not enough. However if the class is played how it's supposed to be, fighting until the last you can still take a heap of people with you before you finally go down.

Also, if you're just out to roll the over powered class be prepared to reroll a lot. It changes quite frequently.

Roll on Kargath. Once they offer you a server just click the "View server list" and click on Kargath and make sure to make your character on the Horde side.

It really all varies on your play style, some people say race will win a fight in a match against equals but meh doesn't matter much, just choose the one you think looks the coolest and has the class you want to play offered.

Class on depends on what you want to do. Warrior(Tank/DPS) Paladin(Tank/Healer) Mage(DPS/Crowd Control), Shaman(DPS/Healer interesting buff system), Hunter(Best solo class/DPS), Warlock(DPSDPSDPS), Druids(Tank/Healer/DPS depending on talents), Priest(DPS/healer), Rouge(Sneaky DPS).

Never roll a class that can heal as your first character though. You'll hate it.I'd say Warlock/Mage if you want to cast, and Rouge if you want up close and personal. They level fast and have an easy learning curve, You could go Hunter too I guess but they're in the midst of a nerf phase.
