Posted: 11/24/09 11:24 PM

Skullcandies are the headphones everyone buys because they look "cool".

I bought a pair assuming they were quality only to find they're sound is dry and bass is pumped an un-necessary amount. I recommend these for 13 year old scene girls listening to Brokencyde and Owl City.

Now if you want quality, you cannot go wrong with sony. I'm not a big fan of sony products in general but over the years, one thing I have realized is they make THE BEST headphones period (through experience and facts, not opinions). Weather you're looking for high quality buds or mixing headphones, Sony is the way to go.

What a novel idea!

You're a fucking idiot.

I didn't post to advertise myself. If anything I could use less advertising right now. I just like to talk about topics of interest with fellow musicians.

Let's all agree with the girl!

Novel idea!

In electronic music (and lots of other kinds) It's someone who mixes music live in front of an audience, with scratchers and mixers, not a kid who clicked randomly around FL studio for an hour and used rompler's pre-made, over used sounds un-edited because their lack of knowledge about audio synthesis, drew that one ultra 1337 chord set that everyone loves hearing over and over in dance music, and threw a compressor on the master channel, turning every single knob up, including the volume.

It's quite silly actually.

So are there any other real DJs on newgrounds?

Posted: 11/13/09 08:31 PM

For my hip hop beats what I did was made 100 CDs, wrote my number on them, and passed em out in my school to people I knew could freestyle and rap, ect, and strangers that looked like they could :p

Also after a TI concert as everyone was leaving.

within 2 weeks I got 10 calls, sold 16 beats, made about 500$ and got my name out there. Now I get regular requests from people around the city.

Automation clips can be hard to chizzle perfect amounts.

That's why when I have an instrument doing several different LFO rates that are tempo based, I make one, then clone about 5 of them, changing only the LFO rates on each one to match the tempo. Then I just put into piano roll which notes I would like at which LFO speeds.

If that makes any sense o.o

Comparing shotguns to chainsaws again are we?

Just like comparing Brittany Spears to Suicide Silence.

Maybe more like comparing a digital audio workstation to a simple audio application?

OH WAIT! That's exactly what we are doing here.

Well good luck...

If I could choose any synth, without having to worry about it costing as much as all my hardware, scratchers, mixers and synths I have now all put together, I would definently go with the Alesis A6 Andromeda.

It might set someone like me back 3000$, but FREE? This is my choise, no ifs ands or buts. Simple THE BEAST (not a spelling error)

mmm, looks like sex.

New synth?

It's like saying "Hard rock"
Nah, fully disagree threre. Theres dnb-step, which has similar drum patterns to dubstep at 170 odd bpm which you might be meaning, but dubstep is a totally separate genre at 140 bpm or near.

This should explain:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubstep

I know what dubstep is, I've been making it for a while.

And in my opinion, dubstep is a form of DnB, since its origins are in DnB, and it was inspired by DnB.

What I find really good for my Dubstep bass is Poizone, It's really easy to use the LFO and really flexible to create new and creative things.

The kick should be really low, nothing with to much high frequencies, a short snare, and barley any cymbals. Dubstep is all about the bass. Leads are rarely used but can be used, usually something low and industrial sounding.

And I think using chorded soft pads in the back of dubstep is amazing, so try that too.

Good luck

The best part is simply being one with the person you love.

But in the pleasure aspect,

When shes on top and lifts up, leaving just the tip of the head in, tightens, then pushes down.

Try it, its fucking heaven on earth...

A girlfriend/boyfriend.

I'm not talking about some bitch you got with cuz' shes got nice tits or something. I'm talking about a significant other, a soul mate, they really do exist. I found mine about 2 years ago, and before then I had never really been truly happy.

Every worry in life seems so much less significant and easier to manage when you are happy. Every thing that ever challenged you is suddenly easier to overcome.

And even the interweb doesn't seem so damn great when you've got a true significant other.

There. I've shared my secrets.

Your thoughts?

Well, my car broke down while me and my friend were pulling into Burger King by the beach and we ate then sat around wandering what to do since we didn't have any money for a tow truck.

We saw these 2 identical kittens scared in the road without a mother, so we took them and he played with them while I fixed the car. After that we both took one home.

I've never had a new kitten before, only older cats which can adapt to new environments quickly.

The new kitten is hiding and being very skiddish, meowing a lot and she wont even go exploring or anything, she just peeks at me on the computer every now and then. (It's been about 4 hours)

tl;dr Should I leave her alone till she gets used to the place or introduce her to the other cats and attempt to play with her ect...?

Pic related, its socks

New kitten!

I'm just going to not be a tool and answer your question...

No.

BUT

You can right click the tempo slider and select "Create Automation Clip"
This can be kind of tricky to adjust, I suggest zooming in as far as you can to make sure the tempo changes to exactly what you want.
